    I have one word to describe this book, INSPIRATIONAL!!!

    Amazing!!! Not only as a fan of MTV's, "Run's House", but this book has inspired me to be a better parent and a partner. I have mentioned this book to several people, and highly recommended it for them to read. I'm hoping someday we can read about the Simmons children soon, and read about their views...

    Practice what they preach

    Great book! Encouraging to those of us who wish families were taken as seriously as careers. The family is an inspiration to us all. I had the chance to meet them in person when they signed at the Indianapolis B&N. Rev, Justine, Diggy, and Russ were such courteous, friendly people! I can't say enough good things about Justine... what a wonderful person! Get this book right away!

    A MUST READ!!!!!

    I purchased this book the day that it was released and finished it in two days. I could NOT put this book down. I simplii LOVE and ADORE The ENTIRE Simmons Family. What a BLESSING they are. I had the pleasure of meeting REV RUN, JUSTINE, & RUSSY the other night @ their Booksiging @ the Barnes and Nobles in Clifton, NJ, and the same way you see them on TV is the same way they are in person! Such SWEET people!!! THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ!!!! I recommend it to EVERYONE ... Whether you are Parents, a single parent, or someone like myself, One with NO children ... This book is STILL for you!!! It's preparing me for my Family Life Ahead!This is a MUST HAVE for ANYONE with a FAMILY or ANYONE looking forward to having one someday! *smile* GO AND GET THE BOOK!!!!

    Pulling it together

    Perfect, this book encourages pulling your family back together. Some children run wild with no dicipline or structure. As a kid I was too scared of the beating if I acted improper, disobeyed, had a fit, hit or screamed at my parents. It's unacceptable!!! You don't need to beat your kids just set clear boundries of whats acceptable and teach them to have good morals and values. This will give you 3 priceless things for the rest of your life, your childrens love, respect and friendship.

    The New Huxtable family

    I am a devoted fan of the tv series and when I saw the episode that mentioned they had a book I bought it the next day. My fiance and I can really relate to alot of sections in the book and we read it to each other every night. There is a little something for everyone to take from this book no matter ethnicity, economic status, or sexual preferance. I raise my children with the same philosophies as the simmons household.

    I get so upset when i miss an episode of the show

    i watch all the old and new episodes of Run's House. I get so tickled when Russell Simmons is on the show, he trips me out cursing when the Rev is around. I am like that man is crazy!!! But i truly love them all. i absolutely hate it when i miss an episode. I love and admire what this family stands for. the show is the best reality show that television has to offer. i look forward to meeting this family one day. I am going out today to purchase the book, i slept on this one because i did not know it was on the shelves already!

    Huge fan of the show and absolutely love the book

    As soon as this book came out I had to have a copy. I just started reading it and so far it is wonderful. If you love the show you will love the book. Both Rev Run and Justine are just as real in the book as they are on TV and have some great advice for parents. This is a must read!

    i love them !

    theyre show is great. i just finished watching the episode where they are recording the audio book. i cant wait to buy it and read it ! i know its going to be great even thought im not a parent .
