Overview

Christmastime is here, and justice is the gift that keeps on giving for the Sisterhood and their menfolk in the third part of an exhilarating series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Fern Michaels.

Victory is sweet, but for the Sisterhood and their allies, it's also short-lived. Now that they've convinced some coldblooded slum landlords to pay very dearly for their crimes, they're ready for another mission. While Jack Emery prepares a Christmas feast at his house, the gang gathers to provide one of their own with a yuletide miracle.

Nikki, Jack's wife, has been handling class-action lawsuits filed by victims of Andover Pharmaceuticals. A new leukemia drug was supposed to save children's lives. Instead, it destroyed them. Andover is fighting the suit with all its wealth and influence, and Nikki is losing hope. It's time for Jack and his crew to give Andover a taste of its own medicine—and show them that messing with the Sisterhood's other half has all kinds of unpleasant side effects. . .

Wow! You've improved DRASTICALLY. Longer is better! And detail! Good! I like how you added humor. Most people like a little humor! And you were close in your spelling; it's conscious, with an 's'.

This isn't a birds-and-the-bees story, is it? It's much to good to be! Seriously, well done. No 5-page lecture on this chapter!

I was very excited about this series and it was pretty good. My biggest complaint is the time spent on the dog, Cyrus. I love dogs and have two of my own, but it became quite annoying to me the time spent talking about the dog. Also, I feel the women were in the first book too much. It did get better with the last two books and it was mostly Maggie. I also think there are better ways to deal with the "clients" then the way they do it throughout all the sisterhood books. I will definitely continue to read these books, but please lay off the dog!

This is a great take off from the Sisterhood series that allows their men to shine. In this book, the men take on a horrible drug company that sells their medications knowing that they kill children. The men cannot allow that to stand and craft a "solution" that will help those injured. They are as creative and crafty as their women. An entertaining novel that allows us to see good triumph over evil. I would recommend this book to all Fern Micheals' fans. You will enjoy it even if you haven't read the Sisterhood, but it is so good that you'll want to read them all.

The title of this book should have been Let Down. The story was split into three parts – mistake #1, redundant story lines – mistake #2, very week, loose plots – mistake #3. All in all, certainly not what I would have expected from this most excellent author.
