## I found this novella tedious. It should have flown by with only 55 pages. However, I felt that parts dragged on. I loved that Travis wanted Syd so fiercely but it didn't interest me enough to pay nine bucks for the next book which is about a different couple altogether.

Good prequel, a completely satisfying story in itself and a flowering of sexual attraction between old friends.

A background introduction, Take Me by Maisey Yates is a very brief look at the past of two of the main characters in the Fifth Avenue series. Travis and Sydney have been best friends since they were children, both driven to succeed, but having little success in the area of love until one harsh and heartbreaking event changes their lives forever. Knowing life was precious; these two cling to each other in passion, but was it worth risking their friendship? What will the future bring for them? Very short, barely skimming the surface of the personalities of the main characters, there is grief induced sexual encounters that give them hope for life and possibly a future together. Ms. Yates started off with a dramatic hook, but I wish there had been a few more pages to get to know and be able to relate to Sydney and Travis and their connection.

Very short read, but enjoyable. Not even 58 pages, but has part of the next book.djc

This is a 58 page Novella that serves as an Intro to the new Fifth Avenue Trilogy by Ms. Yates. It covers a period of time between Christmas 2004 when Sarah commits suicide at a Christmas Party and 2014 when two of her best friends receive word that it might not have been what it seemed at the time... And so begins the investigation of what really happened to Sarah... Book One AVENGE ME is due out in June 2014.... Ms Yates is a new author to me but I found this short story to be well written and a strong intro to the next book...

Since this novella is only 58 pages and a few on here decided to tell the story instead of write a review i think i will pass now that I know what its all about. Sadly the author probably lost out on a few royalties due to the folks who ruine it for the rest of us. Thank You by the Way. Just wiish B&N sold all three books in the trilogy. Sadly you don't so I guess it's off to Amazon I go
