I started learning with Oxford Take off in French in February 2008 on their older edition. The first thing I learned how to do is read and write much quicker than my speaking and listening skills. I am now enjoying the pleasures of listening to french music and watching forein films in their native language. Oxford is the most affordable way of adapting a new language in your life and becoming conversational at your own pace. Especially, because you can fit it into your schedule.
