Overview

Spiritual leadership seeks to motivate people from the inside, by an appeal to the heart, not by external pressure or coercion.

Spiritual leaders are not consumed with their own success, but with the success of others. They work hard to make everyone around them successful by focusing their passion on helping those they lead to envision, embrace and enjoy the opportunities set before them.

This type of leadership is really found in the scriptures as fathering. Fathering empowers the person in the position of leadership to succeed because people trust him with their futures. If he is surrounded with gifted, capable, diligent, and effective people who are truly devoted to him and his leadership-it is because he has gained their trust.

The Lord's pattern of breaking bread was much more than a ritual, habit, routine or sentimental practice. It is the essence of the spiritual dimension that is missing from today's leadership. While most leaders in the church have made the breaking of the bread into nothing more than religious ceremony and tradition to be followed, Jesus used it to reveal the depth of who He was and the pattern needed for true spiritual leadership.

The Lord and Master set a pattern for mature leadership. In this book we will seek to understand why Jesus created the pattern of taking, blessing, breaking and giving bread.

In this book, you will learn about becoming a spiritual father and learning to be a father to others. It is about taking leadership to the ultimate dimension...fathering.
