Overview

FROM THE USA TODAY BESTSELLING SERIES...

~ TAKEN BY CHANCE is an emotional, erotic novel about overcoming your worst fears. It contains mature themes and content perfect for fans of FSOG and the Crossfire series ~

Lena Simone Maddox's life has been turned upside down. Trying to make it as an actress in LA while retaining her dignity had always been tough, but now? Her ex has leaked pictures. The kinds of pictures you don't want anyone to see. The kinds of pictures Lena didn't even know existed.

So much for dignity--or respect. And so much for trusting men. Lena's been screwed over too many times to open her heart to anyone, ever again.
So why does she have to keep reminding herself of that fact whenever she's around Chance Dalton?

The owner of Volare LA and overall player is the guy who gets the paparazzi off her back. He's the gorgeous Dom who can actually make her feel sexual, even after all that's happened. And he's the one man who might be able to earn Lena's trust.

Lena begs him to train her as a submissive, hoping to reclaim that part of her identity after her ex has taken everything else. But Chance has demons of his own. Things that happened years ago, things that he won't talk about.

When Lena finds herself falling for the fiery Dom, she freaks. Can she trust this man with her heart?

Will Chance give her a choice?

    Refreshing

I really enjoyed this book! At first I was worried it would be another "bad boy, innocent girl" story but it was so much more! Chase had a darker past, but it made him a better person....and Lena really needed to get het head on straight to see how good she had it with such a loving and carung man. This was a very refreshing story...and VERY steamy ;)

I just LOVED this book! Lena and Chance's love story was surprising, hot and left me wanting MORE!! I have read all of Chloe's books, and I truly loved this one the best. It is a wonderful story of how a couple go from a Dom/Sub relationship to a warm, funny, surprising love relationship. Like other readers, I did not want this book to end. Please Chloe give us more of Lena and Chance. Your books just keep getting better and better!! I could not put this down, I read it in two nights and then re-read the last 4 chapters again! Great job Chloe!! I cannot wait for Declan's story!!!

Looking forward to more from this author

I really liked this book. The characters were well developed and the plot was good. There were plenty of steamy scenes but they didn't interfere with the telling of the story. I did recommend this book to a friend. : )

Taken By Chance was a wonderful, relatable, real story. You cannot help but fall in love with Chance and feel for what Lena is going through. The entire Club Volare Series is great, but this book (so far) is definetly my favorite. You get some of the kink but lots of story with it! You cannot help but fall in love with Chance! Well done again Ms. Cox! I am awaiting Declan's story.

This is a great read and I would recommend all my friends to read this book.  When I started to read this story I just did not want to put it down.  Chance and Lena are so real.  They show that people have issues in their lives but they can be worked through with love and understanding.  You can’t help but fall in love with Chance.  This story is not all about the kink in their lives.  Love a happy ending.
