I bought the 5 books in the series at once, based on the good reviews and now I am stuck reading them. The first book was really bad (1 star). This one improved but still suffers from the same problems: immature, poorly developed characters and unrelatable dialogs and scenes. The men are womanizers, always bragging about how rich they are and how many women they can f***. The fact that they turn into mushie boyfriends from one page to another and start saying 'I love you' does not make up for it. You do get steamy sex, a lot of it. But I found myself skimming through it. It cannot replace a good romance plot and quality writing, which is what this book is really missing.

Taken by him is short, 112 pages, but there is as whole lot of hot in those pages. Definitely an adult read that brings on the steam. Luke Preston is the billionaire playboy, and he is definitely a player. While recovering in Cancun after an assassination attempt, he meets Peyton Lane. What starts out as a no strings attached fling turns into more, especially when they each arrive back home. Taken by Him is a quick, easy, and very sexy read with some humorous moments, and though it would have been great to see the story developed a little more, for a novella, it definitely brings it.Was this review helpful? I was not as taken with Luke as I was with Graves. It was an enjoyable book, but the way Luke talked bothered me. I don't to be called woman by my man! I enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as I enjoyed the first in this series. I am excited to read the rest!!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Bad Boy Falls Hard. This is book 2 of a series by Red Garnier and this one was even better than book 1. Luke is your typical playboy who gets shot at and needs to lay low. Peyton is just on vacation and wants to have fun with no strings attached. HOT, HOT sex scenes and a great HEA. Looking forward to the other books of this series to read. This story had more depth than the other ones. The characters would fight to get back their love they both shared years ago. This story also have a lot more action so that was exciting as well. I can't wait for the next one. A good series!!! Love the billionaires complex storyWas this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. It's a fun, hot and steamy read, with plenty of smoldering sex scenes.
The attraction between Luke and Peyton is instant on both sides, and the sexual tension leaps off the page until she says “yes”, - then it's all action and non stop sex for the couple.
For a novella, and not really being a fan of them, I did enjoy this book. It made for a quick easy read to make you feel good and brighten your mood.

A romance with sex scenes well written but too"Happily Ever After" for my taste.
I had not read "CLAIMED BY HIM" before starting this book. As it comes as a serie of independent stories that did not bother, nor disturbed me.
A romance with sex scenes well written but too"Happily Ever After" for my taste. Quite short, perhaps too much, this story does not offer the possibility of letting you get actually attached to the characters. I've spend a pleasant moment, in a dream come true setting, but I was not blown away.
I found the end a little too perfect while being too exaggerated. The playboy billionaire who organizes a sleepover ... and eventually grew tired of his way of unbridled life for a woman meet on a beach...Really?!
I know that you are in a romantic fiction but still.
So, if I have nothing to say about the lightness of history and its entertaining aspect, it is true that I had a sense of cliché and of "too much" to be true.

I really really liked this book and Claimed by Him. I can't wait for the next. My ONLY issue with this one is I think it cut off to soon. It could have been just a couple more pages. Other than that though, I loved the story. Their love and the way they both need each other is amazing. Oh, and the sex is good too ;)Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Sexy Fast Read
I like this one so much better than Claimed by Him. Luke is such an alpha cave man and I love it! This is a really short story with great sex and little story. However the little story there is, is pretty good. I loved both Luke and Peyton and how they found each other while on vacation. Im looking forward to the next one.
