HIS OFFER, HER CHOICE: FORTUNE OR LOVE?

Tasha Yvette expects her relationship with the moody billionaire, Maximillian Sorberg, to end in submission. For him, dominating Tasha is just the beginning. He's left her anxious and pregnant in his massive estate during a trip abroad, and winter leaves her plenty of time for reflection.

Tasha has a lot to think about. His library calls to her, where strange books about breeding and power may hold the key to his deepest secrets.

Then Maximillian returns with new toys and the offer of a lifetime. She can have the immense fortune he's promised for her service, or she can have him, but not both. What's a former model to do?

In this conclusion to the Taken for Breeding series, love doesn't come easy. And when it arrives, it's bound with unmatched lust, obsession, and pregnancy. An erotic romance novelette of over 9,000 words.

EXCERPT

He opened the box and slowly lifted out a long chain that terminated in a polished leather loop. The case clattered to the floor as his fingers worked the opening around the circle, unrolling it like a long licorice strand. He motioned to Tasha with his free hand.

She stepped forward with little footsteps. When she was at his side, his hand shot out to the ends of her long hair, pulling her chin up.

“Easy. I'm thankful to see that your insolent ways haven't returned in my absence. That's good...very good, Tasha. Now, please hold still.” He carefully buckled the cool leather around her neck, securing it in place with a snap from the silver buckle. From the edge of her vision, she could see a red gem set in the middle, possibly the biggest ruby she had ever seen.

Maximillian took a few steps back with the chain in his fist, nodding with satisfaction. “How does it feel?”

“Just...right. It feels good, sir.” In fact, she wasn't lying.

The billionaire's sudden return with a leash in tow had a naturalness that might have been frightening in any other situation. As it was, their entire relationship was built on her submission. What else could she do but serve if she wanted his priceless treasure?

At least I might as well enjoy it, and be honest about it, she reassured herself.

“Come on. Let's give it a proper test,” he said, tugging her along.

In mere minutes, he led her down the long hall and onto the locked elevator. Tasha struggled to keep pace for the first minute or two, but soon found her groove. By the time they reached the first floor of the east wing, it felt as though she had worn it for days, rather than minutes.

“Wait...out there?” Tasha asked, spilling disbelief from her lips as her master dragged her to the glass door.

Maximillian only nodded his head and shoved it open, welcoming the crystal sharp air. They brushed through the resistance, out into the cold. Though a warm front had broken the worst depths of late winter, Tasha swore it couldn't have been warmer than thirty degrees.

She shivered immediately in her dress, a red number that nearly reached to the ground. It was suitable for a warm night club or a summer day, but not a New England winter. The billionaire wasn't wearing a coat either, but he didn't seem fazed, powering onward as if he were walking in a pleasant park.

“I'd like to show you my gardens. They're beautiful when Nature provides its sun and warmth. But winter has its stunning beauty too...you just have to look harder sometimes.”
