Meet the Author

Since 1982, J. Bert Freeman has been facilitating, coaching, lecturing and instructing organizations and individuals in different areas of organization development, personal performance, leadership and diversity. In 1986, a breakthrough occurred. He created the skills of Verbal POSITIVE APPROACH. As a result, he founded T.A.L.K. Associates, in 1987. Over the years, many applications of Verbal POSITIVE APPROACH were developed for education, service, manufacturing, health services, leadership, multicultural development, quality assurance, hospitality and much more. People of all professions were taught how to make Verbal POSITIVE APPROACH a second nature skill. During the 1990's, Verbal POSITIVE APPROACH evolved into CONSISTENT POSITIVE DIRECTION, yet a higher dimension of Human Interaction. Since then Consistent Positive Direction has been his life's work through seminars, lectures, coaching and especially everyday use. In addition to being a teacher of his work, he continues to be a student of his work. This book provides core and advanced skills of Consistent Positive Direction under one roof, that you can use immediately.

J. Bert Freeman is a Graduate of the United States Naval Academy, with a B.S. in Engineering and Golden Gate University, with an M.S. in Human Relations. He is a former Olympic fencer and U.S. National Champion. His experiences include manufacturing, quality assurance, combat engineering, international customer service and distribution, baccalaureate educator in human development, public speaking, organization development facilitator, consultant and instructor. In his work, he is joined by a team of business, education and public professionals, with years ofworldwide experience, who are intensively trained in the skills of Consistent Positive Direction.
