    A reviewer

I purchased this book to learn about the art world and what to expect, so that I could best represent my partner who is an excellent emerging artist. The book is geared towards the artist themselves and whether you've attended an art school or not, it doesn't matter. This book is a great guide for showing you how to organise your material ready for submission to galleries, both online and offline. It includes sections on holding an exhibition yourself and suggestions for marketing and so much more than I can put in this review. It is a fantastic book and while I am not the artist, I am merely the artist's manager, this will prove an invaluable tool to ensure I represent my artist to the best of my abilities. If you're not sure how to get your art 'out there', I suggest this book. It's written by an artist who has held 'live' classes to enable emerging artists to have the proper guidance on how to put the theory into practice - which may or may not be something lacking from the art colleges themselves.
