When I marched back in 2008 I never imagined all the crazy, improbable, and outright stupid things than could and most likely would happen. The phrase, "for those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who don't no explanation exists," is not only apt for this book, but the entire DCI/DCA community as a whole. A good read if you know what you're in for.

Amazing book! The main reason why i bought it was because one of our marching instructors was in this band and i wanted an "inside look" on it. Its a perfect book for anyone;not just music nerds like myself. I am indeed in marching band as a clarinetist (pin holder of woodwinds and section leader) and this summer i will be drum major. People joke around that marchingband is "my strange addiction" which is true :) so this was a perfect book for me :))

I just finished my first season in high school marching band as bass drum numero one and I loved it! This book was amazing and this book was definitely worth four bucks! :D
