Tale of the Forests
The place of nature in human life and the role of man in the life of nature are the two main themes that Konstantin Paustovsky reflects on in his book The Tale of the Forests. Naturally, the image of the forests in the story is symbolic, it is a poetic image of the whole of Russia. The work surprisingly successfully intertwines the past and the present, there is a constant search for overcoming the global conflict between man and nature. But at the same time, the idea of harmonious coexistence between them sounds expressive.
