Meet the Author

Robert Hartman graduated from Hillsdale College in 1985, where he was captain of the Hillsdale golf team. After receiving his master’s degree from
Hollins University he began his career as a successful freelance writer. He now resides in Roanoke, Virginia.

William C. Campbell played in a record 37 U.S. Amateurs. He won the tournament in 1964 at the age of 41 and served as the president of the USGA from 1941-1977. He is also a two-time North and South Amateur Champion.
