Overview

A madcap year in Thailand for multi-talented blogger and rambler Gregory Pleshaw. This book is in equal parts disturbing, hilarious, sad, poetical, fantatical and paranoid. Like Hunter S. Thompson, Gregory Pleshaw ploughs on where he often isn't wanted or needed, but his prose falls like a sharpened axe on anything worthy of being sundered. He is a master of macabre humor, but more so of panic attacks with pen in hand. His eye is trained on all things human and paranormal. He feeds hungry ghosts, literally. He goes down a river in the presence of dragons. He has secret affairs and averts disaster, but not all that much. But mainly he writes eloquently of the human condition in a place that remains fundementally unchanged since the days of dragons.
