Kerry Keene has written dozens of sports-related articles for newspapers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, including the Brockton Enterprise, Taunton Daily Gazette, Providence Journal-Bulletin, and Quincy Patriot-Ledger. He is a baseball historian and member of the Society for American Baseball Research and has held a position with the Massachusetts Department of Correction since 1984.

    Sonic High School Chapter 23

    *Tikal went to school the next day. Cream was standing by her locker a worry look on her face.*
    Tikal- Is something wrong Cream?
    Cream- Yes. Have you hear yet?
    Tikal- Hear what?
    Cream- Blaze stood up to Sally yesterday.
    Tikal- Why?
    Cream- Don't know but Sally is really upset about it. You talking to her friends on how to get her back.
    Tikal- Don't worry Cream. Whatever she does Blaze will be fine.
    Cream- I hope your right.*walks away. Tikal sighed. After she got her suff for class she walked to Math class. She saw Knuckles standing by the doorway.*
    Tikal- Yes Knuckles?
    Knuckles-*sighs*Look Tikal. I'm sorry for my...behavior yesterday.
    Tikal- Yea you should Knuckles. Would could of started a fight!
    Knuckles- And that's different from any other year?*Tikal laughed. Every year Knuckles would always get himself into some kind of fight. It was just like a tradition for him*
    Tikal- Remember 7th grade?
    Knuckles- Oh yea! That was my best fight ever! 5 against 1 but who came out of top? Me!
    ???- Beside the fact that those 5 kids were only 4th graders.*Tikal looked behind her to see Mark standing behind her*
    Tikal- Hey Mark.
    Knuckles- Excuse me! Those kids were 8th graders for your information!
    Mark- Sure they were.
    Knuckles- They were! Tell him Tikal.
    Tikal- It's ture Mark. I was there.
    Mark- Maybe just some werid dream you had that night.
    Knuckles- Bye Tikal. I got to get to class.*walks away. She knew Knuckles was tring very hard to keep his anger under control. She also knew Mark was beening a little mean towards Knuckles*
    Tikal- Mark, I wish you guys will get along.
    Mark- Tikal that will never happen.
    Tikal- How do you know? You never tried beening friendly with him!
    Mark- Because me and him are way different.
    Tikal- How?!
    Mark- I play sports.
    Tikal- So does Knuckles! He's on the Basketball team with Tails, Sonic, Shadow, and Silver!
    Mark- Yea but I'm on the Baseball team which is way cooler.
    Tikal- Does it matter?!
    Mark- To me yes.
    *Bell rings*
    Tikal- Got to go Bye.
    Mark- Bye Tikal.*and he walked away*
