When most sports fans hear the stat 3,000, they immediately turn to baseball. But for those fans whose breath comes out in frosty puffs, and who bleed ice and snow, 3,000 can only mean one thing—the glory of Montreal Canadiens hockey. The “Original One” of the “Original Six,” the Montreal Canadiens hockey team is practically synonymous with superlative: The most Stanley Cup championship victories, with 24? The Montreal Canadiens. The highest number of regular-season wins? The Montreal Canadiens. The oldest active franchise in the NHL? The Montreal Canadiens.

Now the hundred-plus years of Canadiens triumphs, tragedies, and times like no other are captured in Robert Lefebvre’s Tales from the Montreal Canadiens Locker Room. In this unique compendium, Lefebvre brings to life both the history and the anecdotes of this incredible franchise. Stories of Maurice “Rocket” Richard’s incredible skills on the ice are paired side by side with locker room yarns and off-the-ice tales of Jean Beliveau, Dickie Moore, Serge Savard, Guy Lapointe, Patrick Roy, and more. With humor, wit, and a lot of adrenaline, Robert Lefebvre has compiled a collection of Montreal Canadiens stories sure to please any hockey fan.

*Cream woke up in the hospital. The pain in her side now a dull ache and if she moved it was a sharp stab in her side. She looked around. Tails, her mom, Amy, Sonic, Silver, Knuckles, Tikal, and yes even Scourge and Sally were sitting in the room with her*
    Cream- Guys?
    Vanilla- Dear?
Tails- Cream!*he jumped up. On Tails's right arm there was a cast*
    Cream- What happened?
Scourge- You did the most stupidest thing possible. That's what happened.*His clothes had blood stains all over them. Her blood.*
Amy- Oh shut it Scourge.*Cream cough into her hand. She looked at her hand and saw fresh blood. She scream. A nurse and a docter ran in*
    Doc- What's going on?
Scourge- She coughing blood.*He saided as if it was the most normal thing in the world*
Tails- Calm down Cream. You'll be fine. I promise.
Nurse- Don't worry sweetie. After you have your medicine there will be no more blood.
Doc- Since she's awake maybe you can tell me what happened?
Sally- We told you before. She pushes her friend out of the way so he didn't get run over.
    Doc- Who's the driver?
Scourge- It was a hit and run driver.
Doc-*writes something down* Alright. You all have about 10 minutes before you need to leave. She needs her rest.
Vanilla- Yes of course. Thank you.*the doctor leaves and so does the nurse*
Knuckles- So Cream. You feeling any better?
    Sonic- Dude. Really?
    Knuckles- What? Just asking.
Tikal- I think were done here. Let's go Knuckles. Bye Cream. Hope you get better.*They both leave*
    Tails- It's all my fault.
Scourge- No. Only half.*looks at Sally. She stares back, gets up and leaves*
Sonic- I still don't see how Sally has to do with anything?
    Amy- With her who knows?
Scourge- I can tell you. After I grap a bite to eat. Saving a kid's life is hard work.*leaves. Amy rolles her eyes and follows with Sonic right behind her.*
    Amy- Bye Cream.
    Sonic- Bye.*leaves*
Cream- Tails how you get the cast?
    Tails- Don't worry about.
    Cream- Tails. Tell me.
Tails- When you pushed me my arm hit the pavement and my arm popped out.
    Cream- YOU GOT HURT!
Tails- Not as bad as would of been if you didn't push me out of the way!
Vanilla- He's right Cream. You saved his life.
Cream- Really? All I did was push him.
Tails- Cream if you didn't push me out of the way I could of been killed.
Doc-*walks back in*It's time for you to go. She needs her rest.
Vanilla- Of course doctor.*she followes him off but Tails stays behind*
Tails- Get well soon Cream.*brushes her cheek with his hand. She blused under his touch*
Cream- Thank Scourge for me please.
Tails- It depends if I can track him down. He doesn't stay in one place for long.
    Cream-*laughs*
Nurse- Sir. You need to go.
Tails- Alright.*lends down a kisses Cream on the cheek. Her eyes widen in surpride but Tails walked quickly away before Cream could say anything.*
Nurse- Was that you boyfriend Ms. Cream?
    Cream- Uhh....Yea. I guess.
Nurse- He's either is or his not.
    Cream- I don't know anymore.*she coughs again*
Nurse- Just get some rest okay.*Cream nods and falls asleep*
