The Tanaan dragon Jaax and his colleagues are called upon to save a small town from the wrath of one of the Crimson King's evil dragons. In the process, Jaax receives a minor injury, a nagging reminder of his failure that soon becomes the symbol of another's triumph.

Jenna Elizabeth Johnson grew up and still resides on the Central Coast of California, the place that has become the inspiration for the setting for many of her books.Miss Johnson has a degree in Art Practice with an emphasis in Celtic Studies from the University of California at Berkeley. She now draws much of her insight from the myths and legends of ancient Ireland to help set the theme for her books.Besides writing and drawing, Miss Johnson enjoys reading, gardening, camping and hiking. In her free time she also practices the art of long sword combat and traditional archery.

    Good read!

    Great back stories to give you just a very little insight on some of the main people in the series. Still have a lot of question on the mysterious mystic. And I hope to figure out just what's up with Jahrra and Jaax. Cant wait for the next book!
