It is from the stories of our forerunners in faith that we often learn about ourselves and the purpose of our own spiritual journeys. Tales of the Celtic Saints offers an opportunity to discover the living wisdom of seven of the best loved Celtic saints: Patrick, Brigit, Columcille, Ita, Brendan, Canair, and Cuthbert.
The text of these enchanting stories was composed by Edward C. Sellner and is drawn from his popular book Wisdom of the Celtic Saints. The stories are accompanied by delightful selections from an old Irish hymnal entitled "Danta De", one of the first hymnals produced after the Easter Rebellion of 1916.The music is performed by Steve Warner of the Notre Dame Folk Choir and Michael James. The stories are narrated by Gaynell Cronin and Paul J. Waddy. This wonderful ensemble enables us to listen with our hearts, to rediscover the living wisdom of these soul-friends, and to integrate their spirituality into our own lives.
