Failures in Life, Failures in Death

    Theo•
It shouldnt bother me the way it does.
Everyone fails at times, its human nature.
The worlds about to fall into chaos (again) and the way I see it its my fault.
Okay so some of its Carter and Sadie Kanes fault but they didnt really know what they were up against. I knew the part of the story they didnt. If only Id known what I know now when I was living.
Chaos had been getting stronger for a while in my time. Ages of fighting against Chaos was taking its toll on Bastet, or as most know her, Bast. While Chaos was confined to its prison that doesnt mean its influence was. I was young when I found that out first hand. I lived in the Edwardian time period and my father was the curator of Londons Museum of Ledgens and Antiquities. Sometimes mum would send odjects back from Egypt and sometimes theyed still have lingering curses. And there was a serious curse on this amulet shed sent back from the Valley of the Kings.
After Id died I began to dig deeper into the mystery of this amulet. In life I had found that there was a strong, powerful curse on the amulet but I didnt know what. I knew its name was the Amulet of Chaos which was a bad omen its self. Then I learned that it was created out of Chaos.
Chaos had plans to disovle Ma'at into Chaos, but it also knew of the House of Life. The Houses purpose is to maintain order, the oppisite of chaos. With its influence it shaped a failsafe way to dissolve order. That failsafe was the amulet. Should the House of Life be able to stop its rise it had hidden the amulet to in sure its rise. It hid it in the Valley of the Kings where my mother found it.
I was born with the ability to detect curse and tasked with the job or removing them. But the curse on this amulet I couldnt remove without releasing Chaos. That was my first failure and the one I regard as the worst. The Kanes stoped Chaos rise but that only activated the cursed amulet. Now the amulets power is drawing on the gods own power for its return.
Now that I can do something there is so little I can do. The journal I wrote so many years ago was sent to girl named Naomi in hopes she can find the secerts hidden within.
Thirteen Greek demigods came in search of the amulet, though they dont know thats their goal. Only 12 will leave for I have killed one of them. It was a mistake to send snake demons to find them but it was the only way. I had to speak with them but my need only killed one of them. I have failed yet again, proof that every action has a reaction. Where chaos is involved its seems I am destined to fail.
