Another great one from bianca d'arc. Mag finds his mate a vampire again after a one night stand where she ran two years yearlier. This story takes place right after Slade through the stories of his two brother not really touching on their stories. This is Mag and his mates story, the other brothers and serveral others making giving help when need. Over all I liked the book and can't wait for the stories of the other two brothers.

Overall rating: 4.5 Rockin’ Stars!
“It’s not that you’re forbidden by some arcane rule of magic, it’s that your fellow bloodletters don’t want anyone upsetting the hierarchy by having access to magical blood. Isn’t that right?”
A Cougar and a Bloodletter are destined to be mates. The conflicts they face to overcome the confusion and taboo from their people makes for an interesting read. Magnus and Miranda have fought the call to mate for two years. Miranda knew after their one night together that Magnus was her one, but she knew that it was forbidden.
“There have been mixed matings in the past you know,” Slade winked at her.
“When Elspeth last threatened us all, much power was given by the Goddess to a few, very special people who served Her in the fight against the darkness. So it’s not completely unheard of for a shifter and a bloodletter to mate. It has been done in the past.”
“We’re prepared to face whatever comes,” Mag replied immediately standing firm.
With the backing of the powerful Redstone Clan and the Vampire Master, Mag and Mir find a way to bond and work within their respective cultures. Working as liaisons’ helps the two groups to work together as they follow the light.
Hero – Magnus: 4.5 stars
Heroine – Miranda: 4.5 stars
Steam Level: 4.5 stars
Plot: 4.5 stars

Up Front This book is a part of a series. You can read it alone but it is much more enjoyable reading in order. Miss Bianca has a good webpage to support her work and is also on FB. I loves the way the author makes a unique path for each of the brothers. us is no exception. His personality comes through and so does his mates. The background story is furthered in this book, the great good vs evil type of fight. No cliffhangers for the couple. They get there HEA. I can't wait for the next book. Was this review helpful?
