The name is a little of a misnomer, the book is mostly Umgangsprache, the every day, colloquial German used in conversation, with about 10% of the 'dirty' variety.
The author has included some interesting chapters about modern German culture, from tv to music.
Great book, all the stuff I never learned back in high school, when we were reading Erich K¿stner books
