I enjoyed EuroTalk's Talk Now Learn Maltese; it was engaging and made the language easy and fun to learn. After mastering Talk Now, I moved on to Talk More, which I understand to be the next difficulty level. This program is terrible, not like the Talk Now program at all. The setup of the program is not helpful for getting the correct pronunciation of the Maltese words as the English phrase is repeated before the Maltese phrase every time. The native speakers show up in the middle of the screen to say their phrases which they say very slowly and do not say the phrase as a native speaker would because of their speed and over enunciation (which is not very clear anyway) of the words. I blew through the first cd and really enjoyed it but the Talk More cd is terrible. I will certainly use the words and phrases from Talk Now when I travel to Malta, but I wish I had not purchased this program; it is a waste.
