Overview

It’s not garbage to Rosemary Wickum, it’s art. And it’s not a dump to Gary Albright, it’s a refuse and recycling center.

Rosemary Wickum always finds wonderful treasures at the dump - pieces perfect for her metal sculptures. But one thing she’s never gone looking for is a man! Her ordinary life as a waitress at the local diner to support her grandfather and teen age son becomes the talk of the town when handsome recycling whiz Gary Albright begins pursuing her with shameless persistence – and everyone in town starts rooting for romance.

Somewhere between creating beauty from waste and developing a new way of life for the future the two of them find a common ground on which to build trust and honesty...and love.

""It is a rare author who can weave together irresistible characters, emotional heartache, wacky humor and social consciousness – all within one superb romance. Rarer still is one who can do with such exquisite style. Brava, Mary Kay McComas!"" ~ Linda Anselmi, ROMANTIC TIMES

    Delighted

Only up to the fourth chapter and the repartee between the two main characters brings to mind "His Girl Friday" and "an Affair to Remember". Adore it!

    Disappointed

This could have been a great story, but it did not need all the sexual content. I finally quit reading it and won't be reading any more of your books if they have the same content in them.

I loved this romance! It's fun and romantic. Dreamy hero. I like stories set in small towns, and this one has a delightful set of secondary characters. Reminds me of the old Nora Roberts' Silhouette Romances. Great read!

    very slow moving

I usually read three to four books per week, unable to get into this one. For some reason, just very drawn out.........
    perhaps just me.
