Overview

Sequel to Talker Tate Walker's past is too painful to just disappear, even if his dream boy, Brian Cooper, is there to hold his hand. Brian does his best, but Talker--always good at avoiding his own pain--is having a hard time facing the truth about what happened when he trusted the wrong man at the wrong time. When that truth resurfaces and lands Brian in the hospital, Talker is forced to make a choice. He can either confront every demon in his fragile, bleeding heart, or he can let Brian take the heat for him, just like he has from the beginning. But even Talker knows you don't leave your dream boy alone and undefended when he just saved your life, and he'll have to find the strength to take care of Brian when Brian needs him the most.

    Great read

I really enjoyed the first book in this series "Talker" and this one did not disappoint either. I had a very hard time putting it down and then immediately bought the next book so I could keep going!

Beautiful, heart wrenching story. I have to throw out a warning- in this sequel  you get more details on Talker's attack-
which could be a serious trigger for survivors.  It is an incredible shorter-length novel but at times I had to set it down
because of my own experience of rape.  That being said, the story was absolutely beautiful.
Amy Lane doe such an incredible job describing the strength of Talker and Brian's relationship and their
incredible love for each other. This is a powerful story of hope and it treats an incredibly difficult subject
    with the respect it deserves.

Holy emotional roller coaster. But I loved every minute of it. The intermittent flashbacks in this one flowed much better since they were consistently from the same scene with Dr. Sutherland and interspersed the present timeline to give us new information. It was nice to see things from Talker's perspective and see him grow a little.
