This set is three full novels which I enjoyed tremendously. Well developed characters and a fantastic suspenseful story line which this reader just loved. You feel for the characters and root for them. This author can sure write an alpha male and the women that can match them. I'm looking forward to more novels in this series. Highly recommend this.

This series was seriously disappointing and I'm so glad I didnt pay a lot. I read a lot of books and sometimes I find one I don't care for, but I have never felt I should warn others not to waste their time or money...I honestly can't understand how this series has such high reviews. Basically, all of the books were the same plot line with different names. A strong and fiercly independent woman is now torn by her love for the alpha male who is trying protect her, but she sees it as controlling. But, she secretly likes to be controlled (especially in bed) and this confuses her too so she pushes him away. Then send in the stalker that said alpha male needs to protect her from. They all end with her getting attacked/kidnapped and then the hero comes in and rescues her. Even the stalkers are predictable and same as they are all someone who is on the inside and thought to be trusted. The stories are also full of annoying spelling/grammer errors...my 7th grader could have done better editing.

So.....this woman is supposed to be an FBI agent but falls apart and collapses onto her big strong man upon discovering her apartment has been broken into. Give me a break. She even gives him her gun? This just isn't plausable. No way the FBI would hire this chick. Romance is fine....story line is contrived and characters not realistically portrayed. Okay beach read.

Well what can i say. I can't stand the wimpy crying girl characters. "Oh please promise to love me", seeing someone for 2 days does not constitute a forever after. These are supposed to be strong women but all they do is cry, literally. How nauseating. Waa waa waa. These books made me want to cry for wasting my time and money. The men were just as bad, big macho men who are heartbroken cause their 2 day fling wasnt working out. Please put more real life in your books. Women aren't that pathetic in real life. Men aren't blubbery slobs after 2 days. Good thing it was only 99 cents or i would have been blubbering for my money back.

Great set of books. Love the characters - Lisa Renee Jones knows just how to serve us up hot alpha males and strong sassy heroines..... The books are fast paced & interesting. Storylines are good with a number of twists, turns & some suspense that will keep you reading into the wee small hours The TD&D stories are peppered with healthy doses of passion & tension that more often than not leads to steamy action!!!! Looking foward to Blake's books.....

These three books had all the same plot headstrong young women with someone trying to kill them and drop dead gorgeous men saving them. Could have left out the explicit sex scenes

Am on the second of the 3 books. Reading the first one was entertaining, but the second one seems to use the same formula, just a change in names. I'll finish reading it and the third one, but not sure it was a prudent purchase.

Paralysed.<br>That was me. In the midst of the most important battle yet, in the struggles between good and bad, light and dark, and everything inbetween. Somewhere along the way of time, the lines between the two sides blurred, causing a grey void in the midst of the constant struggle. A grey mist that, when unleashed, can either cause massive mayhem, or exorbitant restoration. One of the void is hard to find; they are hidden too well within the kosmos. The ever expanding and everchanging kosmos...<br>Unlike most, my fear came from overthinking. I knew how important it was to move, but yet, I was unable to. Things were just going to slow for me. People were fighting all around me, yet no one was falling. There wasn't even any wounds. My thoughts were distracted as he came into sight. A boy, about the same age as me, came from somewhere behind me, passing in front of me. I stood, shocked by his beauty, short, messy blonde hair, slightly taller than me, and strikingly electric blue eyes. He flipped his hair as he walked further off. Suddenly, my thoughts must have sped up, for I started to move, as if in a trance, following this boy deeper into the battle. I could hear my brother calling for me, but it seemed a long way off. The boy slowed down, and ducked behind a tree. I slowly started walking up to it, but was yanked back from behind. Had someone notised me I wondered. Notised that I was following this boy? I turned around, a sword materializing suddenly in my hand and I brought up. I grabbed the shoulder of the person behind me and held my new sword to his neck quickly. The man looked scared as he tried to see past the craziness in my eyes, determination also peering through them as he futilely tried to push the sword away from his throat, but I held them down on his chest with my right hand, instead of holding his shoulder.<br>"Who are you," I ask through clenched teeth.<br>"Your worst nightmare, when I'm not in the light," he stated simply. I push my sword harder on his throat, warning him I wasn't hearing any games. "Fine," he continued hastily. "Name's Xavier, or Xav." He then swiftly kicked me and I drop my sword in surprise. I watched, kneeling and holding my stomach, as my sword rises up and stabs Xavier in the leg. Did I do that, I wonder silently as Xavier tries to pull it out, but it seemed stuck in his leg. Slowly standing, I grasped the hilt, and easily pulled it from his leg.<br>"Now that we have that settled," I say as he falls on his leg. "You should know this one thing about me. I'm not one to be messed with." He curls up his lips onto a grimace as he attempts to stand. He manages it, but is forced to lean on the tree that was behind him. "Now, why did you approach me" I probe, scrutinizing Xavier. He was probably a good five or six years older than me, but only slightly taller than me, by about an inch. He had dark brown hair amalgamated with a twinge of red, plus green eyes on his round face. I was just starting to scrutinize his complexture when he began to speak again, in a deep, gruff voice.<br>"I have my reasons," he tells me, all emotions leaving him and his black eyes boring into me.<br>Black eyes? They were green moments ago I thought questioningly. Then I felt a sharp pang in my head and my sight blacked out. When I could see again, everything had a more crisp look. It was as if my sight had enhanced. I looked at Xavier and he shrunk back, suddenly, and truely, scared of me.

The books were ok especially for the money but I was disappointed with the strong women who turn out to be almost bratty and asinine in nature. For instance, the FBI agent was too unrealistic. She wouldn't have given up her gun, she started out strong and bold just to turn into a whinner. I like the first two books pretty much but the woman in the last book needs a personality adjustment.

Take out the sex scenes and the bad language and the story would be 30 pages long. A good writer would do more research have more meat. One thorough sex scene is enough then shorten them after that. I like the continued use of the same people it keeps people coming back even if they skip over all the sex scenes which are almost all there is.

I couldn't even finish the first book. The story line was interesting but the OBVIOUS third person writing of this author was driving me mad. I couldn't take it anymore. Maybe I'll revisit it at another time.

Three mystery romance stories. I enjoyed them bt did find that the plot tended to repeat the same scenario over and over with each story. Many incorrect spelling erors. Worse the futher into the books you read. What ever happened to leaving the sexual exploits to the imagination? This givea play by play from getting a person aroused to climaxing several in desired. Totally not needed in a book.

Once you start, you won't want to quit and when you get to the end it makes you once to keep going. Where is the next installment. It needs books 4, 5 and 6.
