    A Great Summer Read

    This is just the kinda book i was looking for. A fun lighthearted read. There were lots of times i laughed. It also reminded me of the movie "What Happens In Vegas". I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a great beach read.

    I still can't believe I loved this book

    I don't like to read romance novels and have always found them cheesy but when a friend begged me to read this book I said what the hell. I'm so happy I did. I went from thinking I could not get through this book to not wanting to put it down. All I kept saying to my husband was I can't put my nook down this book is so good. I loved Heather I loved Tony. I loved Heather and Tony together. I don't think I'm a fan of romance novels yet but I am a fan of this book.

    Absolutely hilarious :)

    I would have given this book 3 Stars had it not been so funny. I had to put it down a couple of times because I was laughing so hard my eyes watered.

    Really liked

    This book and the previous one, "Hot Wheels and High Heels" . I thought they would be typical boring romances. I really loved the characters.

    Another Keeper

    Tall Tales and Wedding Veils by Jane Graves is a book that will stay in your heart forever. ________________ Heather Montgomery always does the right thing. As an accountant she likes order and planning in all aspects of her life. To please her family she agrees to be in a cousins wedding. This also involves a weekend bridesmaid¿s trip to Vegas. There she runs into sexy hometown hottie Tony McCaffrey. _______________ Tony McCaffrey is putting all his money into buying the local bar McMillan¿s. He came up $20,000.00 short so he tries his luck in Vegas. There bumps into Heather Montgomery a local girl he never noticed before. Tony decides Heather is his lucky charm and soon she is winning the money he needs. Next thing they realize they are hitched. _______________ Both agree to a quickie annulment but when her family finds out she is married they agree to stay married for a month to make them happy. But living together makes this unlikely couple look at each other with new eyes. Each learns something about themselves they didn¿t realize was there. Once the month is up will they go their separate ways or stay together? _______________ This book is an absolute keeper. It stayed with me long after I had finished reading. As Tony and Heather grow as individuals and as a couple you will find yourself routing for them to find their happy ever after.

    This is a fresh throwback contemporary romance

    In Las Vegas, Heather Montgomery and Tony McCaffrey marry after too much champagne. However when they return to their hometown, the prim and proper accountant realizes they are incompatible as she is a workaholic and he is a player. She informs her spouse she will annul their marriage he offers no resistance.----------- When she learns it will take a month, he suggests they live together for the thirty days then they file saying they made a mistake this way she will not suffer local humiliation for her drunken I do. She agrees, but soon their attraction has both seeking compromise. He teaches her to relax and have fun and she shows him how to make his sports bar dream a reality.--------------- This is a fresh throwback contemporary romance between two likable characters. The story line is fast paced from the onset as Tony looks forward to returning to being the playboy of the western world, but his conscience demands he protect from scandal and ridicule the vulnerable Heather. Readers will enjoy their antics of living together for one month as he never cleans his toothbrush while she sterilizes everything. The life planner and the chaotic free faller make for an engaging Texas romance.-------------- Harriet Klausner
