This book is too short and has too few recipes- It conspicuously lacks a recipe for a vegetarian tamale. It also has only one recipe for a giant batch- why not for more reasonable 2 person batch? The book uses the same exact directions for making the tamales for every recipe- as though it were cut and paste- and just uses up pages- that was pretty poor form. It would have been very helpful to have some idea on how to get corn husks- and how to purchase and prepare them (for gringos!) and lay them out- even line drawings would be good. The book only needed a few recipes for the masa part and then more and better recipes for the fillings.
