Meet the Author

Kabbalist Rav Berg was born in New York City to a family of spiritual scholars and teachers. After many years of traditional religious study, he was ordained at Torah VaDaat, the renowned rabbinical seminary. He then was privileged to study in Israel with Rav Yehuda Brandwein, one of the greatest kabbalists of the 20th century. After Rav Brandwein passed on his spiritual legacy to Rav Berg, the Rav dedicated his life to bringing the wisdom of Kabbalah out of obscurity and to the people. Together with his wife, Karen Berg, the Rav opened the doors of The Kabbalah Centre to all who would desire to learn Kabbalah’s universal principles. Today, The Kabbalah Centre has more than 50 locations worldwide. Almost four million students have participated in its courses and other programs over the past 30 years.
