Overview

Max Dutton, a starting NFL linebacker for the Los Angeles Condors, is certain he's going to die young since his father and grandfather both passed away at an early age. Believing his life will be cut short, Max lives every moment to its fullest. For this reason, Max also shies away from forming close relationships. What would be the point of falling in love and starting a family only to leave them as his father left him and his sisters?

Nutrition expert, Kari Murphy, used to think Max Dutton was to die for. She's older and wiser now, but then she's hired by the NFL franchise to follow Max around for a couple of weeks and give him healthy-eating advice, foolproof facts about carbohydrates and tasteful tips on cooking and shopping smart.

Kari Murphy must work side by side with the guy she spent one spectacular night with during high school...the guy she pined after for way too long.

Too bad he doesn't remember her.

    Hot and Fun!

If you like to laugh and you like rollicking good fun, you will enjoy this book. This is a contemporary novel that has a modern heroine dealing with an egotistical male football star. The fun begins as soon as you read the first page.

I liked this novella. It was 210 pages not 599+ as another reader has stated.

A Good Read with interesting characters

I really enjoyed the family interaction. Max is the big brother to four sisters. Two of them are having problems and I'm curious to know what happens to his #3 sister. I'm not sure if she ended up with a happy ending...maybe Ragan has another book planned for Nicole. Everyone in Max's family talks at once and they all have an opinion which made for some good laughs. His mother was an interesting character.she doesn't let just anyone into the family circle. I definitely recommend this book.

    Great Book

This is the second book I've read by Theresa Ragan. I'm happy to report that at no time did I think "ugh...come one" or put the book down every 5 minutes tempted to just give up. It's a great story and a fast page turner. Enjoyed the read very much!!!!!!!!

    Another Great Theresa Regan Read

Theresa Regan has done it again, this time with a straight contemporary romance. I loved the characters, especially Max's family and sped through the story. I hope his grieving sister gets her own book.

    Loved It!

Where can you buy a book and get two GREAT romances in ONE... Loved the characters, loved the writing style, loved the story line and will definitely look for more books by this author... I really like characters I can relate to and in this case I felt I was part of the story... This book was very balanced with a good story, good romance, good humor and even a little sadness... Definitely recommend!!!!
