Overview

Tessa Bowers grew up in Liberty, Montana but never knew of the well hidden and very strict rules for married women. If she had, she might not have flirted and set her sights on the wealthy rancher, Cole Bridger.

Cole wasn't a man controlled by anyone, let alone the little spitfire trying to lure him to the alter. He decided who he married. He decided when. So when Tessa shows up for church one Sunday, she enters as Miss Bowers and leaves as Mrs. Bridger.

Right from the start, Cole dictates his expectations of Tessa, who quickly realizes married life is not as she imagined. Willful and disobedient, she fights against the humiliating and shameful things he demands. With the help of the town doctor, Cole begins to train Tessa to be the proper wife. It is a difficult task, but he'd waited years to tame her - mind, body and soul.

Good, highly explicit domestic discipline read, though not a book with spanking.

This is town with it's own rules for married life but even girls growing up in town don't always know what goes on behind closed doors. Tessa has been treated in ways that have turned her into a real pain.  But Cole seems to be able to see the real Tessa.  I love how he is willing to bend and adjust some of his ideas about married life when he can see what Tessa has faced.  He truly cares about her and this story turns out to be so much sweeter than I expected when I started reading it.

This is the second book in the Montana Maidens series. This story is about Cole, who we met in the first book and Tessa. Tessa has a reputation in town for her verbal barbs. Unfortunately, Tessa was very unhappy with her life. Her parents are very strict and humorless with her. But, she was very interested in Cole. So, when Cole wanted to marry her, she agreed. When Tessa got to their house, she started the sexual training that all the wives in the community underwent. It was strange to her, but she enjoyed the lessons. She and Cole come to realize that they love one another. There are no spankings in this book, but there is the sexual control that a husband has on his wife. The sex and the training are very hot! I give this story 4 stars.

Tessa's marriage to Cole This is book 2 of the Montana Maiden Series. It can read as a standalone but to fully get to know the people and understand the concept of the town of Liberty, MT, it is best to read in order. In this story, we start with the wedding of Cole Bridger and Tessa Bowers. A wedding she had no idea was going to happen until she was in the church. In this town all married woman are given a daily dose of a pill that is an aphrodisiac, lubricant and works as birth control, inserted anally and plugged. The men know that this will keep the woman "in heat" and biddable. At the Bridger ranch, the three wives, Tessa, Catherine and Maura must go around with their breast exposed for their husband's pleasure and to be available for their needs. This story is mostly the training of Tessa as Cole's new bride and him teaching her that she is special.

2nd in series where Cole marries the one woman he' s had his eye on ever since she was too young to be flirting with him. The town might think Tessa is a hard woman to handle, one with a temper and a sharp tongue but Cole sees beyond that. He begins training her the moment they say their vows and never stops. Tessa learns that she need not worry about what her family thinks as she has never been able to please them. From now on all she must do is learn to please her husband and he gives her lessons several times a day. Though this isn't really soft and sweet, you do know that the couple really love each other. There is no spanking in this book as Cole has no intention of using anything to cause his new bride to remember her punishments at the hands of her family. Instead he uses creative punishment or rewards of pleasure to enforce his rule that all she need to is serve him at all times.

I received a free copy to read in exchange for an honest review... ************Spoiler Alert Please Read Book One First************************************ While some may find this to be uncomfortable and not their cup of tea that is fine please don't wreck it for everyone else especially the author who is just trying to make a living writing a fun book if it's not your thing move on don't leave a crap review just because you it read about something new that you were warned about in the beginning. Adult up! This is an +18 only fiction title. Tessa had thought she knew what she was doing when she teased Cole onto that alter but when he flipped her skirts in-front of the preacher she realized her she was wrong. Cole was not shy of doing his duty by his bride and he intended to start his marriage on the right path. Tessa was going to be a happy and satisfied bride if it killed him. I loved this book. Vanessa kept the heat from beginning to end.

This story is about 95 pages long. I enjoyed reading this book, but I should have started with the first book in the series. These are not for the dainty vanilla readers.
