Review:
"Taming the Tycoon" by Amy Andrews was a really, really good romance. I will say one thing or maybe two....this author knows how to write sex scenes that are simply off the chart. From the plot, sex, and the humor.. this is one read I will not be forgetting any time soon. With Addie being funny and Nate being well... I am not going to say. You will just have to pick up "Taming a Tycoon" and read it for yourself. I don't think you will be disappointed at all! This author did a wonderful job with the pacing of the story and the characters were all too real.
If you are looking for a heart felt read...that is funny, sexy and smart...you have come to the right place..."Taming a Tycoon" would be the right place for you and YES, I would recommend this novel as a excellent read.
hese two characters took a few pages to grab me - he's a heartless tycoon, after all and she's a corn-rowed do-gooder.
But wow, Amy Andrews knows how to motivate her peeps! She managed to make me care, quite quickly, about both of them, and the way she engineered their time together felt fresh and different. The love scenes are sssss-ouch!-scorching and work to drive their relationship. But it's the trips around London that I really enjoyed, how they enjoyed being tourists together. Who knows if I'll ever visit myself, so it was a nice opportunity to do so vicariously.
Thanks for an enjoyable read, Amy.

ADULT BOOK | ADULT REVIEW | Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
In a nut shell:
Good Story | Nate is Yummy | End is Perfect
My Rating:
3.5 stars
Details:
This book is pretty cut and dry for me =) I like it. Nate is just delicious… seriously yummy man candy – “mandy” as I like to say in real life – Addie was just weird. Sorry folks, but I never really felt her that much, but she is great for the story. The person I identify with in this story is Nate… he is a hard worker, a sexy as hell man, in charge, knows what he wants, knows what needs to be done. I love that he is so not expecting what Addie brings to his life… and I love how their relationship grows and develops. It isn’t insta-love like I see so often – which most of the time I really don’t mind – it just makes the story less plausible, you know.
So really I don’t have anything bad to say – o_O – I never really do… but this book I just read through in about a day or so and liked it. The pace of the story is good – not to fast and not too slow, which I HATE and you all know it!
What I absolutely LOVE about this book is the humor that shows up all through the pages. Addie is funny and Nate is just snarky and a little dirty with his double entandras – LOVE IT!

Nathaniel Montgomery is busy. He has no time to spare for what he considers frivolous activities. When he bought a walled garden and planned to bulldoze it to make access he has no compunctions. But he hadn't counted on placard bearing protesters.
Adelaide Collins had survived cancer and now takes live as it comes. She had left the professional rat race far behind to enjoy simple living. She was one of the placard bearing protestors whom Nathaniel encountered, when she cuffed herself with him. But before they could be uncuffed, Nathaniel is injured in a freak accident.
Now Addie wanted to pay it forward, because as she says Nathaniel saved her life. So she decides to help him out. Nathaniel needed a date for the weekend so he accepts her offer on the condition that it was one weekend only. They hadn't taken into account the sizzling attraction and the sexual tension that would ignite between them.
Would Addie manage to tame the tycoon and make him a fun loving, stop and smell the rose's type of person?
Amy Andrews books are fast-paced, sexy, steamy and intensely emotional. TAMING THE TYCOON is certainly no exception. Featuring a sexy hero, a lovely heroine and a gripping premise that you will want to read it in one sitting.

I Got a copy from Net Galley a couple of days ago, I was reading an intense book and Taming the Tycoon just landed at the right time.
I needed this witty, fun light spirit story, it was such and easy breezy read couldn't put it down and loved and enjoy every second of it. Abbie was just a fun character and a breeze of fresh air for me and ofcourse for Nate, her view of life was eye opener and how could ever prevented falling for her.
The pace was on spot, the plot , interacted twist and characters were overall a joyful ride.
Thanks to the publisher for sharing her work I am now a fan!
