Meet the Author

Maureen Smith is the author of eighteen novels and two novellas. She received a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland with a minor in creative writing. She is a former freelance writer whose articles were featured in various print and online publications. Since the release of her debut novel in 2002, Maureen has been nominated for four RT BOOKreviews Reviewers’ Choice Awards and numerous Emma Awards, and has won the Romance in Color Reviewers’ Choice Awards for New Author of the Year and Romantic Suspense of the Year. Her novel, Secret Agent Seduction, won the 2010 Emma Award for Romantic Suspense of the Year. In 2011, she won the RT BOOKreviews Reviewers’ Choice Award for Recipe for Temptation for Best Kimani Series Romance.     I enjoy Maureen Smiths writing style, but this wasn't my favorite novel, it was still a great read! Talk about Hot & Steamy! The chemistry between these characters carried the right amount of tension, attraction and raw animalistic lust. Mrs. Smith establishes a great passion in this story. I enjoyed the role of the supporting characters and the drama and/or conflicts they brought to the story. Mrs. Smith has a gift for making you wish you were the main character experiencing these sexual escapades without crudeness. I believe the hopeless romantic readers will enjoy this novel, as well as those who can appreciate a lil' spice in their lives. Keep 'em coming, Mrs. Smith.

    Great Read!

    One of Maureen's best. Maureen is by far my favorite author of non fantasy (vampires, science fiction) romance novels. I love the way she brings the characters together. She makes you think that these types of people could actually exist. Thanks to Maureen for not disappointing once again!

    GOOD BOOK!

    My first read by Maureen Smith..I was very impressed with her writing style...She definitely delivered...I enjoyed this story about Marcus and Samara....I look forward to reading her other book series!

    Loved it!

    I've only read one other book, Whatever You Like, by Ms. Smith which I enjoyed immensely so I borrowed this book from a Nook Friend. It was such a good read that I purchased it before I was done with it...along with all the others in the series. Can't wait to read the other Wolf Pack stories in the future! Ms. Smith is now on my must-buy list.

    Loooooove!

    I have the original version. But when I heard of the re-release with some additional material I HAD to get it on my Nook! This one will make you laugh, cry, fall in love, angry and leave you hot and bothered. Ms. Maureen can write a story! Looking forward to reading abotu the restnof The Wolf Pack!

    Looooooved this book!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I loved this book!! Maureen Smith is becoming one of of my favorite romance authors. I was so excited to finally read Samara and Marcus's story. Since the book was just rereleased I read about these two in Ms. Smith's other books. I was not dissapointed!! The story was great!! Ms. Smith knows how to write hot and sexy scenes. I can't wait for more of the Wolf Pack.

    This is a rereleased book that has been touched up a bit by the author. I have read two books in the series so far and  look forward to the cousins' stories. With names like Manning, Montana, Magnum, Maddox lol and Mason that sounds like all kind of trouble and juiciness. 

    Marcus saw Samara for the first time on the runway at her mother's fashion show and felt an immediate attraction. He asked her out and she declined. But she still thought he was FINE! After returning to Washington D.C, Samara is worried about getting founding for her nonprofit organization called FYI. Hearing that Marcus is opening another practice in D.C, Samara saw it as an opportunity to ask for funding, knowing she turned down a date with Marcus. Once these two came together it was nothing but fire until a trifling woman named Antoinette comes between the happy couple. They both also had family issues that they needed to resolved.

    Marcus was so charming, smooth and sweet from the beginning. He was sexy and successful as well. Samara was great to read about, she was sexy and nice as well. When these two got together it was very steamy. The classroom scene was sexy but the office scenes were sexier. I don't think  they used a bed half way through out the book, which I'm not complaining. Family and friends definitely added to the read and made it great as well. I look forward to the cousins.

    Intimacy: AMAZINGLY GOOD
    Enjoyment: GOOD

    Once You'Ve Touched The Heart
    The Heart Of Him

    THIS IS HOT!

    After reading two awful romance novels, this was absolutely a delight. Ms. Smith had me captured from chapter one, I could not put this book down. I usually don't care for novels when the main characters are in the bed before the second chapter, but because this story was so well written it did not take away from the the build up of the romance. Samara and Marcus characters were well developed and the loves scenes had so much PASSION....wheew I had to take a break. This is a good romance novel for you passionate lovers out there.

    Sexually

    This book is so off the chain. The sex scenes are to die for. The book hooks you from the beginning to the end. Maureen Smith did an excellent job. You can just see yourself and your mate being the main characters acting out the exotic love scenes.
