    Great

I really enjoyed this book. I am anxious to read what will happen next. I also am a huge fan of the Gwen Sparks series. This book did not disappoint. At some points I laughed, was in shock, and could relate. My only complaint is that the epilogue was a bit......tame. It didn't leave me on a cliff hannger like the books in the Sparks series. But, I stiill recommend it. Highly recommend it.

I received this book for a fair and honest review. This is the first book in the series.

This book is the type that you want to curl up in your favorite reading spot and close off the world until you are done reading. You don't even want to worry about having your favorite beverage because that would take away from reading.

Anna is adjusting to life now as a werewolf. She is a headstrong independent woman that doesn't always follow the rules. Not only is Anna trying to adjust to her new life, she has a bit of a love triangle thing going on.

Anna has to fight to prove she is not responsible for the humans being killed recently. Things aren't always what they seem.

Stephanie Nelson is a very talented author. This book is about Anna adjusting to being a werewolf and all that goes with it. It is also about the 2 men that are eager to become Anna's mate. Stephanie has the ability to vividly describe the love scenes without making it turn into smut.

    I can't wait to read book 2.

    First thoughts after.......
hmmmmm..... I want to op on the 2nd book! LOL

    How distracted did I get?
Who doesn't love an Alpha wolf? <3 Poor Anna gets turned to a werewolf and she so strong and spunky that she has issues with not looking in the Alpha's eyes and staring him down and the alpha female. I LOVED Anna. She had the strength and with that is my fave in a female lead character. Add in Adam the Alpha......yum.....

Taming the Wolf is an action/love packed book that I thoroughly enjoyed and will have a hard time waiting for the next. I was able to finish the story in 2 days even with 2 decent shifts at work and a twin with the stomach flu!

Anna Avery has trouble adjusting to life as a werewolf. Althoug

Anna Avery has trouble adjusting to life as a werewolf. Although she enjoys some of the benefits of the supernatural lifestyle, her humanity looms close to the surface. Her life is made more difficult by the murders she keeps dreaming about. And why does her wolf feel so much aggression toward humans? It quickly looks as though she is responsible for several deaths, despite having no memory of committing the crimes. She is horrified to learn of her involvement and wants to take responsibility for her actions whatever the personal cost.

To complicate matters more, her uncontrollable attraction to her married Alpha puts her in more danger with his mate. His reciprocal attraction makes being around him all the more difficult. Every situation leaves us wondering how she will possible get out of the mess she finds herself in.

Stephanie Nelson brings the reader in and keeps them guessing, along with the protagonist of the story. Is she really killing innocent people? And is she destined to become an adulterer against her will?

I can tell you I couldn't put this book down. This was my first wolf novel but I am more intrigued with the genre after reading this story. The author makes it easy to romanticize the werewolf life with appealing characters and their commitment to the pack.

The main character, Anna, is easy to like and root for. Her determination to hold on to her values and take responsibility for her actions is engaging. You want her to be innocent and hope for her exoneration.

The setting within the werewolf pack is enticing. Being surround by a group that protects each other, works together and supports the whole community is missing in our current culture. It is attractive to get lost in a group dynamic like this and want the connection it provides.

Overall, this is a great book. I would recommend it to 18+ readers who enjoy the paranormal genre.

Just like with Craved, Stephanie Nelson pulled me into a time and place that I didn’t want to leave. This book goes from steamy hot to so funny I was laughing out loud. I couldn’t put it down. Romance, action, suspense, drama, and lust (not you’re momma’s kind). Be prepared for an exciting ride with some great characters that you won’t easily forget. I can’t wait for book 2!

I so love werewolves. I dare say that Stephanie Nelson has written a book that I might like as much and maybe more than Patricia Brigg's books (which are what started my love of werewolf stories). The start of this book explains how Anna Avery is turned into a werewolf. I have read some stories where werewolves cannot be made, only born, but this takes on your standard idea that if you are bit by a werewolf, you just might turn into one. I say might because the magic in the bite might not find you worthy and you will probably die instead of be turned. Anna is attacked while out running and Adam, alpha of her new pack, finds her almost dead on a mountain. Being the newest wolf in the pack, Anna is the bottom of the totem pole and given the daily chores that are necessary to keep the pack running smoothly as well as hidden from human society. She struggles with dealing with humans for no known reason and is therefore isolated from all human society as a safety for them as well as her. The biggest issue that Anna has is that she cannot bring herself to be completely submissive to Adam. She finds herself daring to look him in the eyes which no one is supposed to do. He catches her doing time and time, but doesn't punish her for it. Curious? I think so. Anna struggles with other acts of submission because she actually feels that she is equal to her alphas when she has only been in the pack for three months. She attributes this to her youth and that she just hasn't learned her place yet. Eve, the alpha female pretty much treats her that way too, but takes it as her place to put Anna in her place. This is the source of conflict in the story. I am not going to say how the conflicts takes action, but lets just say that Adam's fondness of Anna is at the source. It was an amazing book that I read in less than 24 hours. I just couldn't put it down and I really can't wait to see book two! The characters are fantastic and Stephanie Nelson's descriptions of the pack's lives leaves you with such a clear picture of what is happening that you will be so engrossed in the story that you will feel like you're a part of the action. LOVED IT!

This was a book with bite! I love Stephanie Nelson to begin wit

This was a book with bite! I love Stephanie Nelson to begin with and she did not disappoint in Taming the Wolf. It was a smoldering, sexy summer read. I might be biased with my obsession with werewolves, but damn this book was hot.

Anna is a strong willed likeable character. She causes trouble but somehow, the Alpha let's her get away with it. There is a strange bond between her and the Alpha that is intense. As the story unravels, so does Anna. She becomes unsure of her feelings towards the Alpha and is the subject of investigation for murders.

This story was full of mystery, intrigue, sex, romance, friendship and the supernatural. The author immerses you into a world of a pack of wolves and does a great job describing it.

If you like sexy werewolf stories, this one is at the top of the must have list. Stephanie Nelson also wrote a vampire and witch series beginning with Craved and it is fascinating as well. Be sure to check this author out, you will not be sorry:)
