Library Journal
Genetic manipulation and experimentation, alien contact, life on the highway to Hell, and the fourth dimension are a few of the subjects Bear tackles with his vivid imagination in this collection of nine stories and one essay that includes his award-winning ``Blood Music,'' a new story entitled ``Sisters,'' and revised versions of ``Dead Run'' and ``A Martian Ricorso.'' Libraries that have missed the author's short fiction will want this.
