The plot twists were fun. I enjoyed the fact that this was a clean, without sex.

Love the storyline. Had some good suspense mingled in with the love story.

I started this book intending to only read a couple chapters at first since I had a busy day scheduled and a very fussy baby, but once I got into it, I couldn't stop. It's a clean romance with still a lot of kissing. The interactions between the couple were happy and exciting, with a little bit of intrigue and confusion going on in their relationship. I was slightly surprised at the ending since I kept thinking I knew what was coming. I was right and wrong at the same time. And I'm okay with that. The only thing I would say was wrong with this story was the nephew Serra is caring for acted so much older than a two year old. Also I kept waiting for one of them to say something that would clear up their confusion but the way the misunderstanding was written was believable enough to make me accept it. I probably would have given it a 5 star if not for that. Quick summary. Serra is an international model who gets a surprise visit from her estranged sister. Brooke wants Serra to take care of her son Matthew for a few weeks while she goes out of the country with her husband. When they die in a car accident, Serra worries that Matthews uncle and Grandparents will demand custody of him and since the only thing Serra has ever heard of Brooke's in-laws is horror stories Brooke told, Serra is scared for him and takes off with him in tow. Brooke is unused to traveling with and caring for a child. She ends up being stalked by someone who is after the money she withdrew from her bank in an attempt to be less traceable by using cash. When Alec shows up to check out her apartment and helps her take the last of her bags to her car, they find her tires have been slashed and he helps out along the way. More things happen, a relationship quickly develops and you just can't help rooting for them even though you think there is no possible chance for things to work out for them.

It was refreshing to read a self-published title that was grammatically polished! THANK YOU! The descriptions of the food were amazing! It's obvious the author had a strong affinity for the culinary arts. I found myself salivating during their Christmas dinner preparation. Now I can't wait for the holidays! Some parts of the plot were a bit slow (a typical trait of any well-written novel), but I was pulled through them solely by the tension of the book's synopsis. I've never seen a writing sample work so effectively! I've never read a romance before, but I expect many of them are full of steamy encounters that would make a mother squirm if she knew her daughter (or son) was reading them. Although there is plenty of passion in Tangled Hearts, rest assured that it is quite appropriate.

What a great read for anyone who enjoys romance with LDS standards! It is clean, refreshing and fun. Roseanne takes the tale of family and enhances it with twists and mysteries. He puts two very different sisters in the same household until the younger one marries and the older one isn't allowed in the wedding. One day, after years of no seeing her sister, Serra opens the door of her apartment to find her standing there. Her surprise is great and the hope surges in her heart that their differences can be conquered and they can become the friends they used to be. After just a couple of minutes, Serra can't believe how much her sister has changed. Not only the differences in her sister, but also that she expects Serra to take care of her two-year-old toddler. Mathew has never seen his aunt until the moment his mother leaves him with her for three weeks. Just a few days later the news of Mathew's parent death devastates Serra. With her sister's warning that her-in-laws should never be allowed to take care of Mathew most clear in her mind, she runs with the boy to someplace where the horrible in-laws would never find him. Soon her car tires are cut and a very dangerous person starts following her. Thus she realizes that, even after death, her sister is the one that proves to be most dangerous. I love the tale and I had a very hard time putting the book down. It is a very nice, interesting and easy to follow read. Anna del C. Author of "The Silent Warrior Trilogy"
