As one of the seven lightning struck women, Nadie Morgan has known for a while now that her fate would be forever changed...and revolve around a certain dragon. From the first time Dante Bell saw Nadie, he knew she was the one for him. There's just one problem-there's another in his life he's waiting on as well.
When Jace Goodwin, a bear shifter and Mediator, finally comes back to the human realm after years away under circumstances out of his control, his first stop is to Dante's Circle where he not only finds his dragon, but the woman they both have been waiting for.
Once secrets are told and the sparks fly, Nadie's new life becomes something she never thought possible. However there's another realm at play and Jace and Nadie's dragon will have to fight harder than he's ever fought before to keep the life he's waited eons for.
Warning: Contains one not-so-innocent human, a bear known for his bear-hugs, a tattooed and pierced dragon with a fiery temper, and a connection so explosive, you'll be fanning yourself from page one.

NUMBER OF HEARTS: 3
A Dragon shifter who has waiting 10,000 years for his mates.
A Bear shifter who is finally home and ready to claim what is his.
And a not so human female that will forever tie them together.
This was a good story, although maybe not a great as I would have like. There was something just a bit off for me. I don’t know what really. It is just in the past I have held Dante up on a very high pedestal and I didn't feel the same connection with him in this book. It was not until the end of the book that I felt we had the old Dante back. So maybe it was just a case of him having to be way too serious in this book.
Jace the sweet tough bear shifter was fun to get to know better. But Jace sure goes through a lot in this book. It was great to see that Nadie finally get a little happiness. Overall this was a good continuation in the Dante’s Circle series and sets up perfectly for the next book (Faith & Levi)
I received a complimentary copy of the book from Fated Desires Publishing in exchange for an honest review. This review is my own opinion and not a paid review.

There are a handful of authors that have my immediate attention when I hear or am told that they have a new book coming out and Ms. Ryan is definitely in this category. The tales that come out of such a unique individual are astounding and yet not a complete surprise when you have had the pleasure to spend any amount of time with her during a book convention, which I am proud to be able to say that I have had that joy.
In truth the story of Nadia Morgan, our heroine, and Dante Bell has been a gradual but steady build since book 1, Dust of My Wings. We have been getting glimpses and glimmers from both of these two but nothing could be finalized until Jace Goodwin, bear shifter and mediator extraordinaire returned to earth from another mission. And I can sympathize and understand Nadia's determination to finally cut the cord if after two years of waiting for Dante to make a move and he most assuredly has not.
Meanwhile Dante is trying to hold everything together at the bar but also with Nadia and knows that he can't claim his mate until Jace can return to make the triad complete. Dante has been caring for Nadia since he realized that she was the final piece to his relationship puzzle with Jace. (Don't worry I'm not going to say how. Spoiler free zone here.) The way in which he is subtly caring for her from a distance is just another reason that I adore this character.
Nadia's first meeting with Jace reminds me very much of a line I heard in the movie The Holiday, which is one of my current favorite Christmas/feel good movies but I digress. The line is "Meet Cute" which is described as when a hero and heroine meet because of a shared experience or event. In this case, Jace meets Nadia as she is preparing to leave Dante's life forever but her car won't start. This whole scene sets up the rest of the book very well because Dante is FINALLY able to let Nadia in on why she has been waiting for 2 years.
The drama that ensues once these three take their relationship to the next level is what we have all been waiting for in this series. I’m not sure about anyone else but I had huge expectations about what drama would ensue once Nadia experiences her “change” and Ms. Ryan not only met those she leaped over them with the entire story moving forward beyond where I felt even the entire series would finally land. And I was SHOCKED at which mythical creature Nadia turns into but all I can say is lucky girl.
Now some of you may have read this far and think I would really enjoy reading this but it is book 4. Can I jump in and read this with out reading the other 3 novels and 1 novella that proceeded it? The short answer is yes. I don’t recommend it because you will miss out on some of the unique and charming way that especially Nadia’s friends and mates are between each other but this story could definitely be picked up and read on its own. However if you do want to read the first three books after devouring this one then may I suggest getting the Dante’s Circle Bundle. This includes the three first books in the series, Dust of My Wings, Warrior’s Three Wishes and An Unlucky Moon. See HERE for the purchase options.
Final thoughts: This is a great continuation of the events following these amazing woman that were struck by lightning. And I recommend you pick this book as soon as you can. Plus have you really looked at that book cover? Who doesn’t want to have that to pet from time to time?
Fated Desire Publishing provided me with a copy of Tangled Innocence but nothing else was exchanged for my honest review.

I've been looking forward to Dante's book since we first met him..... I love dragons and a dragon shifter is a particular favourite of mine!!!
One of the things that really draws me to this series is the uncertainty around what each of the 'lightening struck' will become... Nadie is no exception ~ and her new found paranormal species is very interesting!!
We've witnessed Nadie's mixed feeling and emotions towards Dante in the last few books and our favourite dragon hasn't made any moves to return her affections - finally in this book we see things moving forward for them - but Nadie, Jace and Dante have their work cut out to be together though I have to say, boy, it was worth it!
Tangled Innocence is action packed, filled with suspense, treachery and deceit... along with a lot of emotion and red hot passion as you'd expect when you have a bear and a dragon shifter and the one to complete them that they have been waiting years for!
If you haven't started this series I would thoroughly recommend you give it a try - and if you have already read the previous books I'm sure you won't be disappointed with this latest installment from Carrie Ann!!!
**One scene with the female dragons had me in fits of laughter.... wonder if you can guess what I found so funny?!?!

I love this series where the seven girls have been struck by lightening. But I've been impatiently waiting for the story of Nadie and Dante, the bar owner. It's now here and was well worth the wait. It's a great story and we finally learn why the girls were struck by the lightening bolt. Sometimes I find it hard to believe the ego that paranormals have when they are members of The High Councils. They are the ones who rule over all but see nothing wrong in what they do. Find out what happens to Nadie, Dante and the other member of the triad, Jace. But keep the kleenex box handy because there is one really sad moment where you will need the kleenex close by. This is a really great book and I highly recommend it.Was this review helpful? How do I start this review?!?!?! *rubs hands together, grinning*
Ok I'm going to be honest I BEGGED FOR THIS BOOK!!! I think all Carrie Ann's readers did. Ever since I read book 1 in this series I wanted Dante's Story, I yearned for it, I needed to know his secrets, I needed to see his happily ever after. Carrie Ann DELIVERED AND THEN SOME!!!!
The premise to this series had me enticed and enthralled but with each new book I get pulled into unexpected ecstasy through it's pages and I'm always left begging for the next one. Tangled Innocence was the perfect storm of passion, innocence, seduction, and fight within its characters!!!!
What I love most about this series that I have yet to find in any other series is guessing what each "lightning struck" woman will become after finding her true half. I don't even try to guess any more and when its revealed in each book my jaw always drops. I also love how each book leads into the next one so smoothly. Its so enticing to get hints and peaks at where the next story.
I cant say enough good things about this book and this series over all, I'm hooked in the most alluring way and I LOVE IT!!!

I used to think nothing is hotter than a Dragon shifter and Dante is my favorite of all dragon shifters. I have been waiting for his book since I read the first book in this series. I seriously have spent way too much time thinking about a book character. True Story. I have always had a soft spot for bear shifters. Something in their size and power maybe. I try not to over-analyze my addiction to shifter crack. This is where my theory that there is Nothing Hotter than a Dragfon Shifters fell to pieces, because clearly there is. A dragon shifter and a bear shifter both being part of the same triad. Poor Nadie has pretty much known Dante was for her since even before the lightening, but he never seemed to show her any interest. Dante knew she was his, but also knew they would not be complete without Jace, who has been away for years with his job as mediator for years. Finally all three are in the same place at the same time and can begin their life together. Of course nothing can be that easy and the triad and first they have to face enemies Nadie never even knew existed. Yummy Goodness, I tell you. Best book of the series!!! No, you do not need to have read the previous books to enjoy this one. Yes, they are all worth the read :) .Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I have loved this series since the first book and craved each succeeding story. We all knew it was going to be Nadie and Dante (and of course, we found out about Jace in Becca's story), but I liked the way the author put their story together. I only have a couple of very minor complaints: I didn't like the explanation for the original lightning that started this. And I wanted more from the characters who already found their true halves. Otherwise, GREAT book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

The fourth book in Dante’s Circle series is a riveting read that keeps the readers shivering in suspense. Nadia Morgan has known for a while that her fate would revolve around a certain dragon. Dante Bell knew Nadia was his mate, but he had to wait for the other one. Jace Goodwin finally returns to the human realm not only to find his dragon, but his human mate Nadia as well. Just when they think they will be together forever, others try to tear them apart and Jace and Nadia’s dragon will have to fight harder than he’s ever fought before to keep the life he’s waited eons for.
The fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of suspense, action and romance. The author brings the story to life with well written words and details that paint vivid images and capture the imagination. The well orchestrated action scenes are believable and make the reader feel as if they are right there in the middle of it. The strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning. Tension builds throughout the story as the couple try to find a way to keep Dante out of the Conclave’s clutches and have their happily ever after.
The attraction between Nadia and her two mates explodes from the pages and the frequent sex scenes including m/f/m, m/m, m/m/f, and anal sex scenes scorch the reader with their red hot intensity. The reader can’t help but get caught up in their stories as the trio captures their heart with their fierce devotion to each other.
The author has created a wonderful paranormal world with fantastic and captivating characters with refreshingly different elements that makes for a great change. So far, I have really enjoyed this series and this one is no different and the author introduces new intriguing characters and this one had a unexpected twist in the plot that I certainly didn’t see coming, so I can’t wait to read the next one (2015, Really?).

It is hard to keep a series fresh and new but Carrie Ann Ryan does it in this latest installment of Dante's Circle. This time we get to see Dante fall. Finally we find out why he has been avoiding Nadie. We find out what supernatural being she turns into when they finally mate. Like the others in this series it is chock full of action, adventure and lots of smoking hot sex.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
