Overview

The sizzling first book in M. Malone's USA TODAY bestselling series about a very eccentric billionaire.

Tank Marshall has anger issues.

Years ago he swore off fighting but everything in his life lately is out of control. His mom's cancer is back and the deadbeat dad he hasn’t seen in years is offering an inheritance in exchange for redemption. So he prowls the streets at night, looking for an outlet for the rage.

There’s only one person that keeps him anchored in the midst of the chaos. One person untouched by violence and money and lies. Emma Shaw.

But the one thing that Tank hasn’t learned yet is that when billions are at stake, there’s no such thing as innocent. Because the only woman he trusts is the last woman he should.

Money. Changes. Everything.

** EXCERPT

I rarely have to go looking for trouble. Trouble usually finds me.

I see the girl first. She’s beautiful and dressed to score in a short black minidress that shows off long, tanned legs. It doesn’t take long for one of the guys in front of the bar to break off from his friends and follow her.

Oh yes. Trouble, you miserable bastard, you always find me.

Another great book by M Malone!! Tank a ma that will do anything for his family as long as it doesn't include is father that left him when he was 8 years old. But with his mom needing surgery because of her cancer that is back and his father will pay him every time he comes to see him on a weekly bases. Emma is living with her sister and working two jobs so she can go to college, where she ends up seeing Tank on a weekly bases and he asks her out all the time. Tanks ends up helping Emma out and she starts to fall for him. The only problem with this is Tank's dad did offer Emma 1 million dollars to get Tank to come see him. Will she turn the money down or will she go behind Tanks back eve though she is falling in love with him. This is a great book and looking forward to the next one in the series

Loved it! The storyline kept me entertained until the end. This book has hot steamy sex and humor. Loved the characters especially Tank one sexy bad boy who was deserted by his father as a kid but will do what he has to help his mom & Emma, she sweet and always trying to see the good in nearly everybody. Can't wait for more in this series!! I would definitely recommend this book.

I thought this book was good. It wasnt short but for some reason it just seemed to move too fast, the base of the storylines and characters is great, but i just wanted more, more time for character development and storylines, although it wasnt a super short book i felt as though a longer book could have made this good book great.

Heartwarming story about a father's attempt at redemption, though his ways of trying to redeem himself leave much to be desired but at least he's trying to do right by the children he abandoned. Tank...even though he was this six foot five, muscle bound man who loved to beat the sh*t out of people, he was also very sensitive, almost girl like which was just weird. Emma, another strange character...she was attracted to Tank since she first saw him, how in the world did it not compute in her head that accepting money from his estranged father in order to get close to him, would not hurt or anger the guy? I got some of their attraction but at times it felt more like they were besties instead of a real relationship, the chemistry just wasn't there. It seems like an interesting series with these five brothers but so far I'm not that impressed, which is sad because Tank seemed so sexy and as far as the sexual chemistry between him and Emma, it wasn't to bad, not the best but not the worst neither...
