    Amazing!

Simply the best possible translation if the Tao available. Gia-Fu Feng and Jane English come together in perfect harmony. The translation is as pure as it is powerful. Simply...Amazing!

Not my favorite translation, but it does rhyme...

This translation of the Tao Te Ching is old. So old, in fact, that you can read it for free on the internet. It's the 1891 J. Legge translation. It's not a bad translation, but the fact that it is now an out-of-date-English version of an already ancient text may complicate things if you're trying to understand the Tao for the first time.
The one huge perk is that some of the chapters are arranged as poems, which is super cool when you have to read a passage out loud in your human societies class and your book rhymes while no one elses' does.
