Tapping the Source draws extensively on the teachings of early 20th century sage Charles Haanel, who some credit with being the real inspiration between Napoleon Hill's Law of Attraction breakthroughs. Readers of The Secret will recognize Charles Haanel, author of 1916's The Master Key System (now conveniently in the public domain), as the source that Gladstone (The Twelve), Greninger, and meditation guru Selby (Expanding This Moment) have tapped for their peculiar guide. The authors maintain that Haanel's key to achieving joy and cash is as valid today as it was 95 years ago. What differentiates this new effort from The Secret, then? The belief that a wishy-washy acceptance that God, or something like God, is behind it all (though a tie-in film and website may better illuminate the book's reason for being—the creation of a self-help empire). Though the authors freely acknowledge that most of their material is derived from elsewhere, and draw frequently on Haanel's own text, it mostly feels fresh in their revisionist ("rebirthing") context. And, as The Secret drew on the Law of Attraction, The Master Key claims other natural laws for itself, including the Laws of Health, Power, Morality, Spirit, Vibration, and Wealth (surprise), providing exercises for quick mastery. Overall, the message is proactive management of one's health, spirit, culture, and desires through meditation and conscious intent, which is another way of saying "prayer" without saying "God."     I got a lot out of this book

    If you are interested in "The Secret" type stuff, this book is for you. It showed my how to actually apply the principles of the secret in an easy to understand way. If you are into meditation and manifestation, this book is for you too. I have never been good at meditation because I cannot quiet my mind. This book shows a really clever technique that greatly helped me in practicing meditation. If you follow the books instructions, you will be meditating and manifesting your desires in just minutes every day. I really liked this book. Give it a go.

    I recommend it

    Yes, this book is not as good a read as "The Secret" but there is much better information and scientific research in this book. This book helpf you find your source, your soul, your inner being. There is another book Recomended to me by a student of mine that I must admit I liked a lot also. It is called THE TRUTH "The Illumination of Conscience. It is very similar to both these other books but for some reason the way it is explained is in a more logical and scientific sound way. I recommend all three to avid followers of Tapping into your inner world or soul.
