Audience: Anyone practicing primary care medicine, from students to residents, practicing physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants would find this pocket book of value.
Features: Topics are covered by specialty, including medical subspecialties, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, otorhinolaryngology, and psychiatry. Each topic is usually covered in one or two pages. Current recommendations for clinical practice guidelines from nationally recognized medical organizations are presented with references.
Assessment: This little book is rich with information that is concisely and well laid out. It could be further enhanced by more clear delineation of new topics and chapters, either by typesetting or tabs.
