Overview

This unassuming deck of cards, adorned with archetypal images that span the ages, has been the subject of much controversy, mystery, and intrigue over the centuries. They are rumored to have originated in Egypt over 5000 years ago, used in the mid 15th century to play card games, and finally adapted as a divinatory tool in the 17th century, there is still an aura of mystery surrounding the tarot that intrigues us yet today.

This book will give detailed insight and information about the tarot, reading the cards, spreads, magical workings, astrology, numerology, and even the use of the tarot to solve criminal cases. This book is compilation of theory and practice together with real experiences I have encountered throughout my many years as a professional psychic and reader.

I had heard of the intuitive method of reading tarot cards, but I really didn't understand how it worked. I was curious and wanted to know what it was all about. This book has given me a whole new perspective on tarot cards and divination in general. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about the tarot and anyone who wants to learn to read the cards in a whole new way.

I read this book over the course of a weekend and found that the author chose to present the tarot from more than just a how to standpoint, which I found refreshing and helpful in learning. The author took you through her actual experiences and readings alongside of explanatory information of card meanings. Which helped me gain insight from a true perspective and not just a 101 walk through of what cards and spreads mean. I look forward to more books by this author!

I find this book a must to add to anyone's collection. Some books leave the reader wondering what information has been left out, happily that is not the case in this book. Clear, concise information from an author who you can tell truly knows her stuff. I hope to see further books by the author.

I feel as though I have wasted my money on this book!! The book wasn't informative at all. It read as if a child wrote it. Grammar was horrible!! Don't waste your money!

I read it and it was very hard to follow. The writing jumped back and forth, it made little or no sense and if I were going to self publish a book, I would check the grammar and spelling!! I can't recommend it..sorry My advice..buy your books through Llewellyn, they are a reputable dealer and only have GOOD books!! Also this book is NOT available in bookstores! ONLY online.
