Overview

Tarot Card Combinations is a unique, comprehensive, and highly practical presentation of interpreting the tarot that has helped thousands master the ancient divination. Dorothy Kelly's easy-to-understand approach shares everything one needs to know to unlock the story presented when the cards are drawn. Like other tarot reading guides, basic tarot definitions of the major and minor arcana are included, as well as explanations of basic layout, and how to interpret upright and reversed cards. What makes this book unique is Kelly's presentation of cards in endless combinations, revealing how the cards relate to each other and endowing each card with richer meaning and more subtle nuances than when considered alone. Beginners will learn the basics and be presented with an easy to follow organic system of learning to interpret the cards. Intermediate practitioners can build on what they already know and for advanced readers, Tarot Card Combinations will provide new insight and food for thought. With illustrations showing 2, 3, 4, and 5 card combinations of cards in the popular Waite deck, Tarot Card Combinations is as beautiful as it is informative. Reading tarot cards one after another never reveals the rich meaning of cards considered together. Use Tarot Card Combinations to unlock the depth and meaning of stories revealed in the tarot.

In my opinion this book is excellent!!!it give you single meanings, combinations and spreads if you buy this book is an investment you do not need to buy extra books in reversals or spreads, even better than some material from tarot schools!!! very happy with the book

I have been studying tarot for three years and have a multitude of books on the subject-but I have to say that this book is an absolute essential to learning to read the tarot cards in combinations.....It is the one book that I have gained the most insight with how to actually read the cards...Its complete, yet simple-not at all complicated and very easy to understand..After 3 years of studying tarot-I still could not completely read the cards as a whole-in conjunction with the other cards until I read this book....I recommend it to anyone who has difficulty trying to put the cards together in a reading. This book takes you from reading the cards from their singular meanings to combining them to give a more complete and accurate reading-it is definitely a must have...

I've been reading tarot since 1989 and enjoying the process of developing my skills as a reader and going deeper into the symbolism of the cards. This book is an outstanding resource for anyone looking to understand layouts, combinations and using reversal meanings to get more nuance out of your decks. I'm glad I found it and can recommend it will be worth adding to your library. A word of caution, this really is not for a beginner. There are many beginning books that delve into the individual meanings of the cards. This book is for when you are reading to take the next step. In Love and Light. KATORA

To use her system you will have to relearn her word associations with each card. I don't think it is absolute but is a good prospective on how to combine the cards. As with all things with the Tarot, the cards can vary with your lay out and the preception.

It was not the best book of the Tarot combinations I've read. It doesn't give full explanation even of Major Arcane combinations.
