The book was wonderful. it was full of fun and adventure and everything a good story needs. it had a bit of heartbreak and loose ends, but we'll leave that for the sequel to fix
This was an enjoyable book to read. I almost rate the first half of the book and the second half as completely different stories. I would give the first half of the book 4.5 stars. It is a lot of fun. The second half, where Tarzan travels to civilization, is a little hard to swallow. I know part of enjoying any book is the willing suspension of reality. However, the longer the book went the more difficult it became to do this. Still, I would not hesitate to recommend the book. I think boys ages 12-15 would especially enjoy it.
