Overview

With Taste of Home Everyday Slow Cooker & One Dish Recipes, you more than 325 easy, economical and family friendly favorites at your fingertips!

With the busy schedules and activity-packed days, creating convenient meals at home is more popular than ever. You’ll be delighted with the dishes featured in Taste of Home’s Everyday Slow Cooker & One Dish Recipes because they require less time, preparation and cleanup.

To make searching for recipes easier, the book is divided into three main sections: Slow Cookers, Stovetop Suppers and Oven Entrees. It’s like having three books in one! Each section is broken into chapters such as beef & ground beef, poultry, pork, soup & sandwiches and more.

The convenience of a slow cooker is unmatched because it does all the work for you–you don’t even have to be at home while your favorite meal simmers to perfection. In addition, slow cookers are economical because they take affordable cuts of meat and turn them into tender sensations.

The Stovetop Suppers section is full of one-pot meals you can throw together in a snap. Quick, easy and family-friendly, they require little cleanup because they usually take advantage of a skillet or Dutch oven.

And if hearty one-dish dinners are what you crave, check out the final section of this heartwarming cookbook. It features stick-to-your ribs oven specialties such as casseroles, roasts, potpies, pizzas and so much more. These meal-in-one sensations make perfect family fare, and they are especially well suited for potlucks.

So, set your slow cooker, grab your skillet or preheat your oven and get ready to dig in! Soon you’ll realize just how easy it is to make heartwarming dinner-table memories every day of the week.

    Book is great.

However, I am not a big fan of a cookbook on the tablet. Things get too divided up and if I want to refer to the recipe during putting things together, it is a pain. Love my Nook, but just not for cooking.

Unlike others I'll rate this on the book itself and not whether

Unlike others I'll rate this on the book itself and not whether I like to cook using my nook or not *sigh*. The book is good, it has some nice recipes in it. I tried several and enjoy them all. There just isn't enough in it that is different from all the rest. It's great if you don't already have a bunch of crock pot books. Excellent for a first time crock book if you don't have any.
