Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Some tatters prefer to work from written patterns, others from scrutinizing a tatted piece close-up, and still others from diagrammed patterns. In this collection of more than 40 tatted pieces, Morton includes written, photographed, and diagrammed patterns to accommodate each of these learning styles. Much of Morton's work is distinguished by her use of colorful Turkish threads and beads, and this compilation of designs includes single motifs, tatted jewelry and accessories, and tatting for greeting cards. There are no tatting instructions in this book, making it suitable for intermediate and advanced tatters. This excellent collection of designs is recommended for public libraries where demand warrants. Copyright 2003 Reed Business Information.
