Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Sarah Raymond
From a very young age, Taylor Swift knew she wanted a career as a singer/song writer. Although it took a lot of hard work and dedication, it took Taylor Swift very little time before becoming a name people around the country had heard of and listened to on a daily basis. This book tells about her life and rise to fame. The book ranges from the difficulties she had in school being bullied to the numerous relationships she has had with some very infamous people. Although Swift fans may enjoy reading this book due to its content, the text was extremely boring and drawn out. The author basically took all the information he could gather from social media, magazine interviews, etc. and compiled them into a life story. The author went into great lengths analyzing song lyrics and what they may say about Taylor Swift as a person, which does not mean the information is entirely factual. Although the novel paints a nice picture of Taylor Swift, the content is questionable. Reviewer: Sarah Raymond; Ages 12 up.

This book is really good at telling you about Taylor's life. I have all her albums, including her 1989 one, and my fave song is "l knew you were trouble" in the Red album. God's not dead. He rose again. (Sorry. I'm sick (and l just want to sleep) and l have posted this on a bible, jurassic world, 3 of the hunger games books, belles, and others. Im tired of wrighting it. BUT SERVE THE LORD! WOO! ) ~ TeamLinkHylanforever

Heart beating, legs shaking, your arms around me, hands quaking. We are driving in the car, backseat empty, crying and smiling, loves aplenty, I guess it was there, all along, Its just another love song, (chorus) And we are singing, love's in the air and I just don't care, Whats happening in town, We will never look down, We got those other people staring and we aren't even caring, Love is in the air. (End of chorus) Mind racing tears making, this love, as pretty as a dove. Happy, sadness, why is this so COMPLICATED? We are singing this song, I'm so ready, your right there, to take away this nightmare, its just another care. (Chorus) And we are singing, love's in the air and I just dont care, whats happening in town, we will never look down. We got those other people staring and we arent even caring, love is in the air. (Repeat somg and for the chorus, have two people sing and one starts when the other gets to 'singing'.) And I know, love is in the air. (Thanks! I am Violet and I hope you liked my song! I have about 5 others and I have a band that I am in.)

Also I don't get why people actually LIKE Taylor Swift (no offense this is just my opinion). Ellie Goulding is much better. Listen to her songs called Lights, Salt Skin, Believe Me, Home, Mirror, This Love Will Be Your Downfall, and Bittersweet. All of those are really good. Dont listen to her new Delliriam album or whatever the heck its called. There are three songs with swearing and I am so dissapointed in Ellie for that.
