    kathy - loves ballet music

The music on this CD is heavenly. But it would be much better if the order of the music was in the same order as what I am used to seeing performed. On this CD, the Black Swan pas de deux is in the second act whereas it is normally performed in the third act. It was just a bit disconcerting. Other than that, it's a wonderful set of CDs.

Complete Swan Lake Contains Many Gems

I enjoyed this CD set mainly for the reason that it contains the entire Swan Lake. Most CDs just have the highlights (or what are considered the highlights), but this CD set allows listeners to discover the many hidden gems of the ballet that are not quite as famous, but just as if not more wonderful. I think that this CD is a great part of anyone's classical music collection.
