Determined to find her, he sets his prodigious philosopher's mind to work on the problem, embarking on a potentially dangerous adventure.

    Still wonderful

    I am so relieved to find a book that I read and loved when I was young that still moves and pleases me; so many books I liked then seem puerile to me now. But Macavoy has a gift for characterization and a graceful use of language that I think any age might find admirable. The story is interesting as well. Simply a great read!
