When she was eight, Allison Starr began spending her summers with her aunt in San Diego. Nearly ten years later she is focused on her last year of high school and which colleges to apply to, not the attractive surfer who keeps showing up at the little corner of beach where she reads. She has no interest in a romantic relationship, especially one that starts in the summer and would be long distance. Ali tries to ignore him, but finds the boy on the beach much more distracting than the words in her books.

Cooper Perez has never surfed the same beach this many days in a row. He just can’t seem to change spots until he has the courage to talk to the girl who is always reading her books in the shade. When he finally approaches her he is overwhelmed with the instant attraction he feels for this beautiful and intelligent girl, even though she is three years younger. Cooper and Allison spend the rest of the summer together discovering their love of many things, including each other.

Summer eventually comes to an end, but their love does not. Allison heads home to start her senior year, but an opportunity brings Cooper closer to Allison than either of them would have expected.

Mr. Perez is the new English teacher at Allison’s high school.

Meet the Author

Steele's love of writing started in junior high when she diligently filled spiral bound notebooks with the most incredible story lines she could conjure. The stories consisted of extremely wealthy high school teenagers and their bouts with love and *eek* French kissing! Because of demand the story had to continue which it did with several follow ups. The final notebook was about said wealthy teenagers , still blinded in all sorts of lusty haze, plotting to kill one of their evil teachers. This spiral notebook turned into a slight frenzy and eventually confiscated due to its scandalous content. This promptly ended her early writing career with it being turned into to proper *touchy* school authorities and a talking to from her mom. Her mom’s only comment was about the first notebook she had written, which she simply stated “Those rich kids should probably go to prom in April or May, not June. June is just too late in the year.” Steele's first editorial review and fan! Steele's love of writing returned with the goal to finish writing a novel before her thirtieth birthday, which she accomplished. She continues to write from her home in California where she lives with her high school sweetheart and Siamese cat.

Thank you for the warning, hate to spend $4.00 for 97 pages. Why can't Barnes & Noble inform us how many pages there books have?

Its 97 pages! Really? Such a long description of the book and its only 97 pages. Kinda pissed I wasted the money

Teach Me takes unexpected twists captivating the reader! I loved the internal struggle going on with the characters because it makes it easy to relate to! Well written!

Even though this book was extremely short, it was beautiful. It was such a great story. The twist at the end was perfect. I didnt even see it coming.

The story starts off not that great,but it keeps getting more interesting. At first I was mad it was so short, but the book was seriously perfect at that length.

OMG.....i fell in ♥love with this book from the first page. It is a great love story and make you look at love a different way. I make you hope to find a love like this. Great book and even though at only 97 page it is not a wast of money!!!!!

Only 97pages, but I really enjoyed most of ''Ali's & Coop's story. Was the perfect love story for me...until the end..soooo many unfinished topics.

This book was amazing. I loved it from the very beginning!!! When they firdt meet sparks fly INSTANTLY. From the very first page, this book caught my attention. From the first kiss to the very first time they speak!!! It just amazing. You would never expect the ending this book has just soooo amazing.....you wont regret buying it........even though it so short

Trruly a heart throb. The relationship between the two is spectacular. I love the way the author created an an amazing resolution that had tears streaming from my eyes. If only love was truly like that. Anyways the story was remarkable. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This book was a super fun to read! I wish it was longer because I didn't want it to be over! Allison and Cooper were great and I hope that there will be a second book!
