About the Author

Pooja Selvan is a mother of 2 young children and a software engineer by profession. She holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Marquette University, Wisconsin, USA. Her experience spans over a decade with companies like Motorola, Oxford Publishing and Goldman Sachs. She discovered her passion for early childhood education and became a life long learner of the subject. This is her first children’s book.

??She strongly believes that parents have the responsibility and yet a difficult job to find the right balance for their children, guiding them through the world of learning online and offline. Activities that tickle their logical thinking are essential ingredients for the young curious minds. One of her childhood favorite activity that served Pooja well was Sudoku. And the very first time she tried a simple Sudoku puzzle with her 4 year daughter, it became obvious that it demanded some focussed attention and needs a methodical approach. Not something that sits well with a young impatient mind. And before they are given 100 of puzzles to practice, it is important to interest them first and support to learn the fundamentals right.

She designed some unique and engaging techniques to teach young kids solve Sudoku and fall in love with it. And it certainly worked with her daughter and now she can’t stop doing enough. In this book, Pooja shares these easy to follow techniques, offering parents the resource to introduce their young kids to the beautiful world of Sudoku.
